USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (COMBAT)- 'The Real'

Started by Ushgarak50 pages

Start a fight and you'll never get off the ground. You need to fly out of here before anyone realises what's up.

It;s quite a bag that can take a spear. Doesn;t matter anyway- hgh encumbrance still ruins youd stealth rolls.

Time is up. Maximum encumbrance for all sneakers is 4. Loadouts will have to be adjusted accordingly.

I now want a list of how each person is getting on the plane; I will need it very quickly indeed.

Actually, if it's just the people being sneaky that need to worry about it...then why are we worrying about Melis's staff? Or Mors's sword? They're not sneaking.

So it's Cloud, Barb, and Hawk who will have to adjust, then (as my encumberance is like...one...).

As for getting on the plane...non-sneaky people should be easy, they're just going straight through.

Sneaky people I think should break up and spread out and each make their way there as quickly as they can. If possible I want us at and/or on the plane before the non-sneaky people get there. If that's not possible, I want us to sort of 'shadow' a non-sneaky person as they get on the plane - go first but have the non-sneaky person directly after to hide them. If that makes sense.

Um, that's what I've got. Anyone else have an idea?

In regards to the non-sneakers who don't look like they should be going on the craft, I'm thinking they should just be top-notch operatives, important persons that we're escorting. They don't look quite like mechanics, after all...

If anyone questions it, we can threaten to have their jobs taken away.

Mush that together with San's sneaky idea and I think we've got a plan.

I need each person named and method given- just naming gorups leads to possible confusion and/or skills mis-match.

Good social rolls might pull off a bluff, btw. But if you spend any time disucssing this then forget about it- too much time passed already.

Ares- non-sneaky, disguised
Melis- non-sneaky, disguised
Burn- non-sneaky, disguised
Mors- non-sneaky, escorted by disguised persons, social
Fire- non-sneaky, escorted by disguised persons
Cloud- sneaky
San- sneaky
Hawk- sneaky
Barb- sneaky

That's no good. The flight crew can't be bringing important people aboard. Such people would board in the passenger area.

Uh-oh, Philo path is nearly done and this idea needs to be perfected by then! Emergency planning!

If people are going to bluff through it has to be the people boarding the passenger/solider area, not those going into the cockpit, which is crew only.

Well if that's the case, then it's less of a problem. Mors and Fire are the ones that need to bluff their way through (well, Mors speaking for the both of them, really), and we wouldn't have either of them piloting anyway as there are others who are much better for that (Burn or Ares, most likely). The rest of us are posing as crew or sneaking on, so we don't have to worry about that.

Ok, so, Mors and Fire are going to walk past (mors complete with sword) and try and bluff it out? Fair enough, I'll need Mors' cover story then, mand what he will say to the guards.

Advantage is, if Mors is doing this he makes the sneaking easier.

Well, unless someone else can come up with some sort of idea, but that's the best I've got right now!

Possible to stash his sword with crewgroup's guns? As I know they wanted to borrow a duffel bag for that purpose...

Crew group is already deployed I am afraid.

It's possible for Mors, just tricky.

Mors will take the bluffing route, then, as it will make sneaking easier for his companions and because he is terrible at being sneaky himself.

My pitch is that I'm a special operative that the government has assigned to take part in the mission of this particular Osprey. If they question my authority, I can threaten their jobs and so on. Some sort of secret service type thing...

Would Mors' knowledge of the Matrix help in any way?

Respect your authoritaaa!

How to explain the sword?

He could be a special combat operative, could he not? He certainly looks the part, and it would explain the katana if he's some sort of obscure specialist soldier.

Okidokey... not easy but it will go on the roll.

I wish we still had Fortune points, but...

Go for it.

Ok, crew people are aboard! Any of you got Drive, btw?

Mors is going off to do his bluff now...

Lots of us have Drive. All of us, in fact, I think.

Burn's is the highest if I remember correctly.

Any of the CREW have it.

He IS in the crew group...
