USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (PHILOSOPHY)- 'The Door'

You alluded to the fact that they replaced him with inferior "general" as a result of this Exile?

"Remember, they decided that you are not wanted. They replaced you with an inferior version, one that wouldn`t go as far as you in pursuing this kind of victory. Why they would want you back now, when they can have a General they wouldn`t feel threatened by? They have rejected you orginally and would do it again.

And the Virus`s first reaction to being free was calling for his "Father". You still have power over it."

"You could show them that you're better than that inferior general they replaced you with..." Heph continues to rattle off.

"A General is always needed," says Sennacherib, though he says nothing to Berserker's other point.

"I am vetter than that General. They can see that."

Possibly a rather more direct reason with that situation is convincing there, rather than just preference.

"But they knew you were better. They just rejected you, even though you were right that you were better.

They have rejected your victory, your kind of "right". They would do it again, they haven`t changed.

And knowing that you would never abandom your ambtions, they would have no choice but to eliminate you, out of fear of what you are capable of." Melkor speaks confidently, looking directly into King`s eye.

I suggest going back to read, as opposed to blindly shooting off things to Sennacherib. We have him where we want him psychologically, we just need to seal the deal.

Yes, that's not it, Melkor. We're not thinking Philosophy here, but pracicality. It's what he responds best to.

Well, I made argument that Virus asked for his father, so Sennacherib may still have power over him.

Most likely not it...

It was another reason that the Machines disagreed with him. I can't remember.

It's the most practical problem involved with the fact that the Machines created a replacement.

Fear of their own lives. They would be afraid that he would endanger them in future again. I already mentioned it.

Edit- Oh I see.

"And why they would want a General if they already have one? You were already replaced, they don`t need you."

That's still a little bit more removed than the most direct and practical issue...

That there is General already, and he would lead?

Well, we are certainly considering the response of the replacement General.

"Do you think that General that replaced you would allow you take over?

Has the System ever allowed Machine decided to be inferior and replaced to resume its position?"

"I am not decided to be inferior. My replacement is the inferior one. I am superior by design."

Big mistake there, now you are losing him.

Heph is right; think carefully before making remarks.

Well, I thought that I am having a good day with this.....

So what would be the issue with the replaced General rather than the fact that he may want to eliminate Sennacherib? Perhaps not even allowing him to leave the Matrix Isn`t it something Sennacherib himself would do?

You maybe this has something to do with the fact the machines won't trust him coming back to led them if they
a) already have a general they can trust

and b) because the King made the Virus to began with.

Those points were mentioned, I think.

And this new General would consider Sennacherib a threat not only yo himself, but also to Society he protects.

Does it sound good?

I wouldn't see why not. As the King said his job and programming was to protect the System and as of right now the King's creation is the biggest problem and thing threatening it. At least that is how the new General would see it.
