IMO I doubt the Hulk would have stopped had Cessily not been ploughed through the wall and into the X-Memorial Site. I think seeing all those gravestones had more of an impact then her words.(Hmm...actually, I should rephrase that, her words wouldn't have had the same impact had it not been for the gravestones)

That or he just realized that his reason for being at the mansion was utterly and embarrassingly ridiculous and decided to leave.

either of those would do for me...

and i don't think it was ever in doubt that hulk could feel sympathy...

On his way to Earth when the Warbond asked about humans other than the Illuminati he said they weren't his friends they were Banner's. Seemed to me that he was perfectly ready to take down anyone who got in his way.

And for a guy who's planet just got blown up that doesn't seem to sympathetic.

it just annoyed me who it was that got through to him... there are x-men who have lost a hell of alot more than mercury (thats her name right? drawing a bit of a blank atm 😖), and yet somehow she's qualified to lecture someone like the hulk about loss?

Qualified? No.

But she was in a much better position to do it that Beast was. Don't you think it's possible that he might have seen some of himself (idealized at least) in her as the last person defending something she cared about?

yes, for him... 😬

And the people he was affiliated with (buncha brits or something) and anyone he comes in contact with. MarvelEarth hasn't had to worry about Juggernaut for a long time.

he fought teams of people that if they had fought at the level their supposed to be able to, should be able to beat him (or at least put up much of a better fight, given that it is WWH), i mean, look at it this way: the astonishing x-men do almost nothing to him whatsoever, yet x-factor and the rest of the x-men that do show up manage to at least put up a fight...

As Bada pointed out a while ago this is basically a new character. They did put up a good fight against an opponent they new virtually nothing about and who they had a few ways of hurting.

I'll admit that some of the writing was obvious cop outs but can you really expect someone to write an event involving so many characters not to be force into that?

that was before he'd hit earth though... and there was always that shred of banner there, at least i always assumed there was...

i'd have honestly just picked someone else... there are people who've lost just as much if not more...

and no disrespect to any teenager on the forum, but she couldnt possibly have the same maturity and life experience as one of the older members...

so why not do it in the actual wwh book? a titanic battle between the two would have bee better to announce his return rather than 3 or 4 pages in an x-men book...

of course not, all i'm saying is that the AXM got a really, really bad showing, a worse showing than they deserved, at least imo...

She lost a lot of friends and classmates because some psychopath blew them up 😐

And remember, other than Caiera and his unborn child Hulk never really cared about anyone else who died in the explosion.

And besides, "The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of a million men is a statistic."*

(* Ironic quote coming from Stalin who was responsible for the deaths of millions of people)

Umm . . . huh? I assumed he was referring to public speaking ability and sheer scope of experience.

And what's with the Stalin quote?

I would say the later 😬

Hulk: I'm ticked off at Xavier for not having anything to do with me being rocketed off into space

Seriously 🤨

Despite I like the idea of Hulk taking his revenge on the Illuminati, and I believe his Warbound is a good introduction too, his rampage is gonna get stopped soon.Strange has charged up himself using Zom's power, Sentry is going to join the battle, and most people, are forgetting Thor is back on Marvel Earth. And tough he's no more a skyfather, he'll be surely on the same level he was as Classic Thor, if not more.I hope the Thunder God puts an end to WWH, cause with Strange/Zom, Hulk wan't last long, and Sentry, onestly he's as useful as an out of ammo gun.He spends most of his time crying and staying alone instead of kicking some asses.

Who knows.

I'm pretty sure WWH occurs after the current events in MA.

💃 Hulk stopped Juggernaut.

By redirecting his momentum downwards but as the writer said he doesn't know which one is more powerful.

While I believe the Hulk is able to cause more damage and fare better against certain opponents, I still believe that Juggernaut would beat him 10/10.

Technically he didn't stop him, only redirected him, the momentum was never canceled out.

That's why he says its a matter of semantics. The direction that he WAS going in was stopped, however in total he himself was not stopped.

Also, let's not forget that Juggernaut's momentum is merely strengthened by his physical power, not created. That means Hulk had to fight Jugg's magical momentum building as well as his brute strength.
