Care to explain why? 🤨

It's easy if you overlook the art, the character development, the consistent writing, the fair portrayal of characters, the plot setups and the awesomeness of the fight scene.

art was ok, character development? writing was consistent from issue to issue, but as for the characters previous consistency, then no... fair portrayal? tell me how beast (possibly the best spoken man in comics) can't talk the hulk down, but a whiny teenager can? plot setups?

fights scenes were ok but incredibly one sided (i know its a hulk book, but still)

and tell me how strong guy trades a few punches with the hulk and manages to hurt him, yet colossus barely does any damage whatsoever?

Strong Guy absorbed the energy from Hulk's punch and used it to punch Hulk. My guess is agter he absorbed Hulk's energy he was able to hit back with a Hulk level punch.

If you look at the scan, Strong Guy absorbed the energy from Hulk's punch and actually grows to where he bursts out of his shirt.

i saw that... but strong guy is what, class 50? and he drained enough energy to hit with what, 100, 150, 200 tons of force?

it just seemed a bit iffy to me... 😬

the wwh series in general, i'm not sure... i like that the hulk is finally back... i hate that they killed his wife and took away the peace and happiness that hulk seemed to have been seeking since his creation...

wwh, the series itself, is ok i guess... wwh: x-men? not really...

Hes always been able to do that but if he doesn't expend it straight away it causes him extreme pain and he gets disfigured (which is why he looks like does now)

He has heart problems from it as well and as you can see in a later panel absorbing that blow almost overloaded him and taxed his heart.

I had a problem with Hulk not knowing who he was, when the two of them had already fought in the X factor/Hulk crossover and he used his kinetic absorbing powers then.

I just wish the Hulk, Juggernaut fight would have been longer. It could have been a whole issue instead of a few pages. The way they had him bfr'd was pretty ridiculous to me. The fact that he can't stop himself is kinds crazy, especially when he's been doing so since his first appearance. Just a poor cop out if you ask me.

i did read it... 😛 and while some of it is understandable, what annoys me is how much he grew and how much damage he was able to cause when the other more 'seasoned' i guess is the word, x-men were so poor...

Yeah, but hes always been able to do that, a monument fell on him while fighting Slab of the nasty boys and a similar thing happened.

He did basicaly hit Hulk as hard as Hulk hit him so seeing as no one that strong had hit him like that before, it was bound to cause more damage than say Colossus.

The only thing that was iffy to me was that he asked what Guido's deal was and didn't know who he was when the two have fought before.

Heh.

X Factor pwn so hard.

still annoys me though... 😬

no disrespect to guido or anything, if he can do that then so be it...

I think you're just being picky now, about nothing. Strong Guy has always been able to absorb kinetic energy, that's why he's constantly in pain. When his powers first developed, he was hit by a bus and didn't know that he had to release all the energy. It's just the same with Shaw, who's been able to knock out Colossus and Rogue VERY easily after taking a few punches from them.

Colossus' punches won't affect Hulk that much. People like Hercules, Namor and Thor are the only ones who should be able to harm the Hulk physically imo. I don't think Colossus is in their league, especially not the way he's being written in WWH: X-men.

Thank you, dude. It was just ridiculous. He didn't tear through their ranks, he murdered them.

i'm not saying he should be able to take down the hulk, but he should at least be able to make some sort of impression... he's been written as being pretty strong since his return, and he got taken down like a chump (like most of the team mind you)

When Colossus is inferior in pretty much every way, he's bound to lose. Though I was no satisfied with the way they simply ruled out all his fighting skill. He's not just dumb russian who beat on stupid american green man.

Colossus DOES deserve better than the writing he got, I agree.

that's all i was saying... i never expected colossus to win, not in the slightest...

Like the fact that Hulk actually is capable of sympathy for others even though he's basically sworn to destroy humanity.

Juggernaut taking back the Gem even though he knows he can never be a hero again.

Hulk didn't have any interest in talking with Beast nor did he give him much of a chance to talk. An emotional appeal was the only thing that could possibly have gotten though to Hulk anyway it's not as though being smarter has made him rational 😬

Juggernaut getting his powers back doesn't set up interesting stories in the future?

Besides Juggernaut, Darwin and Kitty he he didn't really take on anybody that would normally beat him though.

Absorbed the KE and hit back with more force. Hulk didn't break his hands because he underestimated StrongMan due to his normal strength being comparatively low.

in a book that was supposed to be as much about the x-men as it was the hulk... 😬

and i don't think it was ever in doubt that hulk could feel sympathy...

it just annoyed me who it was that got through to him... there are x-men who have lost a hell of alot more than mercury (thats her name right? drawing a bit of a blank atm 😖), and yet somehow she's qualified to lecture someone like the hulk about loss?

Juggernaut getting his powers back doesn't set up interesting stories in the future?

yes, for him... 😬

he fought teams of people that if they had fought at the level their supposed to be able to, should be able to beat him (or at least put up much of a better fight, given that it is WWH), i mean, look at it this way: the astonishing x-men do almost nothing to him whatsoever, yet x-factor and the rest of the x-men that do show up manage to at least put up a fight...

herc beat ya to it... 😛

IMO I doubt the Hulk would have stopped had Cessily not been ploughed through the wall and into the X-Memorial Site. I think seeing all those gravestones had more of an impact then her words.(Hmm...actually, I should rephrase that, her words wouldn't have had the same impact had it not been for the gravestones)

That or he just realized that his reason for being at the mansion was utterly and embarrassingly ridiculous and decided to leave.
