That is what these one-shot events are for though. Showing your favorite characters at their best stomping on people and what not.
As others have said for Hulk, there is no where to go but down from here. He's technically just outgrown his old rogues gallery but I'm sure some of them will show up in the future to 'fight' with Hulk.
Seriously, it's ridiculous to see Hulk haters grasping at straws. Gotta admit I didn't care that much about who would win between Sentry or Hulk so I watched this fight from an objective point of view and from what I've seen it was pretty much a stalemate with both of them trading blows until both of them turned back to their human forms.
The writers were pretty much trying to make it clear that Sentry wasn't holding back due to Sentry's and other character's statements and at the same time it was pretty much shown that Hulk can withstand it.

Pretty much whatever anyone has to say they cant discount the fact that hulk took everything sentry had and still kept coming.

Hulk DID NOT run out of energy. You saying that shows you didn't read the comic. He was back to Hulk form in literally 3 pages later after the Sentry fight, and powered even more powerful than he was when he fought Sentry in a few pages after that.He didn't want to kill Robert - what's so hard to understand about that? Cho said it, and it's been shown many times - Hulk is not a killer. If he was WWH levels and punched Robert after he ran out of energy he would have killed him.
Smart poster, God helps KMC.

Not at the time. He stalemated. then got his energy back because of Rick being stabbed. You are the dumbest person on this forum.
Ah, the pathetic speculation by anti-Hulk fanboys is hilarious. The Hulk beat Marvel's "most powerful superhero" and ALLOWED himself to be captured. Now go eat crow!
Hulk haters claim that Hulk fans are unreasonable, but this takes the cake.
Saying that Banner knocked down the Sentry and not the Hulk is like when your mom can't open up a jar and you open if for her and she says, "Well, I loosened it for you".
Yeah, BANNER knocked out the Sentry. Yeah. Banner. The Hulk had nothing to do with it. Yep. Uh huh.
DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

^^ QFT. KMC members are grasping at straws to come up with any excuse for Hulk not winning. It's one thing to dislike a character, but to go that far looking for excuses is ridiculous IMHO.
The same people who see Superman fly through the moon of Saturn breaking it in two thinking it's awesome, then seeing the scan of Hulk supporting billions of tons on his back during Secret Wars and declaring it PIS. In other words two characters perform similar feats, but simply because one character is who he is that makes it PIS and for the other character it is a feat.
That's one thing I don't get about some people in this forum. I mean personally I give Superman credit where it is due - he is top dog of the DC heroes in terms of physical abilities by far, and to be honest his feats are simply incredible. I actually used to be a bigger fan of Superman than Hulk back in the 90's before I read Planet Hulk and got to see how much they expanded the Hulk's character during the series. It really added new depth to his character and meaning to his existence, and added a tragedy element as well to his story.
simply put, The Sentry went all out. Hulk didn't. the result, Sentry went down, Hulk wasn't even stretched.
to say that "Hulk's energies were spent" or crap like that, is completely retarded as, throughout the whole WWH arc, we've seen how he NEVER hits harder than HE calculates the adversary can take. he NEVER UNLEASHED, even with all his monumental rage, he ALWAYS retained that calculating security button in the shape of Banner, in his head.
WTF was Amadeus Cho trying to prove to Hercules (and by extension the reader) if not that very fact?
Hulk could have annihilated The Sentry, and pretty much everybody on the planet, but that's not who he is, it's not what he does. he makes the choice not to be a monster, not to be the "worldbreaker" by constantly and ceaselessly regulating how much power he outputs in battles.
there's no other way to read it. Hulk's mere steps can break a continental shelf, and people still cling to the idea that he was "stalemated" by The Sentry????
EVERYTHING The Sentry had <<<<<<< a pissed off but not careless Hulk. end of.
I never got hating a character. I make fun of Batman, Hulk, Superman and Wolverine for some of the more implausible things they do but I also read and enjoy the comics.
Hulk has beaten Gladiator, Sentry and Thor and has punched an asteroid twice the size of Earth in half along with so many other strength and durability feats. The days of calling them PIS are over.
It's funny that the rabid DC boys don't have a problem with Doomsday, The General and Grundy having feats on par with the Hulk's feats.....

Is Bob really a different persona from Sentry? I thought it was a ClarkKent type secret identity.
Both Hulk and Sentry share similar mindsets in that their minds are fractured with multiple personality disorder. Basically without their superpowers they would both be in insane asylums. Robert had his mind fractured into Void and Sentry (evil / good), and Hulk had his mind fractured into Hulk and Banner (savage / scientist-logic). So it's not really secret identities in the same way that Superman has - with Superman, he's always Superman, he was born that way and will stay that way, whereas both Bruce and Robert become something else that lies deep within their minds.
