Sentry couldn't overload or outpace Hulk's HF, durability and regeneration. especially once you realise that they become exponentially faster and more powerful along with all Hulk's other attributes.
it's because Hulk's attributes fluctuate in accordance with his perceived needs (ie tussling with Colossus and Thing, then stepping up for a shorter confrontation with Zom/Strange ...), that he sometimes takes longer to heal/regenerate than at other times.
Zom/Strange punched a whole right through his upper body, he regenerated within a couple of panels, he did it twice. once while saving some bystanders from a falling building.

Going all out in power yes. But he fought like an idiot and did not fight and win like he should have. So it was a stale mate.

Sentry never used his speed close to what he could have. Not close.

I dont remember hulk saying he was going all out either fact is maybe hulk could not put down the sentry but by the same token hulk took everything the sentry put out and kept coming.

Hulk could have annihilated The Sentry, and pretty much everybody on the planet, but that's not who he is, it's not what he does. he makes the choice not to be a monster, not to be the "worldbreaker" by constantly and ceaselessly regulating how much power he outputs in battles.
there's no other way to read it. Hulk's mere steps can break a continental shelf, and people still cling to the idea that he was "stalemated" by The Sentry????

I am going through each scan because I am bored stuck at home on the sick.

SCAN ONE: First scan, Sentry using enough power to destroy Hulks big ship by flying through it.

SCAN TWO: Sentry is comsumed by power and is enjoying himself and ha s a devilish smile. Nothing much.

SCANE THREE: Sentry speedblitzs Hulk (?) and blow up a chunk of the walls and builings he went through with Hulk. Should have been more damage seeing as he just blew up the ship doing the same.

SCAN FOUR: He knows Hulk is the only one he can hit and actually survive the punch so uppercuts him. Hulk says Sentry doesn't want this but Sentry says he does.

SCAN FIVE: In one punch Hulk is sent flying and we se Sentry is his superior at the moment.

SCAN SIX: Sentry not using his full speed at all obviously because Hulk manages to actually speak, Sentry has flew to the Sun in seconds. Obviously not going all out.

SCAN SEVEN: Hulk manages to punch Sentry full on in the face causing an explosion. Not an inmcredible eat by Hulk but still pretty good reactions and speed.

SCAN EIGHT: The Hulk that punched Sentry and caused an explosion hits Sentry four times and each one Sentry is saying a word. All together it is: Good. Just. Once. More. If it was bothering him THAT much, Sentry would have stopped him, if he wanted to he could have used his speed especially.

SCAN NINE: Sentry SMILES after being hit hard in the face by WWH and hits him with two hands so hard you can see an explosion of..power or god knows what when he does.

SCAN TEN: A doubled handed uppercut caused a huge explosion through the city.

SCAN ELEVEN: Hulk is on fire and his friend calls out his name in worry. Sentry is in the sky in a twister of fire and energy.

SCAN TWELVE: A chunk of the city is on fire after a punch and his friends try to put Hulk out.

SCAN THIRTEEN: Hulk looks like hes grabbing energy? Or something and jumps up.

SCAN FOURTEEN: Sentry asks Hulk "does it always feel this way to let go" and then they are about to collide.

SCAN FIFTEEN: Sentry punches Hulk a couple of times and Hulk getss tronger and grabs his army. Sentry says funny.

SCAN SIXTEEN: Sentry says its funny he can't stop while a huge huge tornado of fire and energy engulf the city. Sentry and Hulkare punching each other while Sentry says goodbye.

SCAN SEVENTEEN: Sentry and Hulk are punching the crap out of each other and Sentry starts talking.

SCAN EIGHTEEN: Same as above but Hulk talks this time.

SCAN NINETEEN: They carry on punching and make an explosion and a big boom, looking like in STRENGTH they are equal.

SCAN TWENTY: They are punching each other over and over and they are losing power even know fanboys disagree. Then at human levels meaning not Hulk and not Sentry Bruce punches Bob.

SCAN TWENTY ONE: Bob says thanks and falls down. This is not Sentry that lost. He stalemated with Hulk. They lost power at the same time so Hulk didn't depower on purpose. Explain that. But what has got everyone in a fuss is Bruce smiling with green eyes. So in my opinion its all opinion and we have to wait.

Thats the thing there is not concrete evidence of what happened most people believe that hulk and sentry ran out of power I dont see why the hulk would just run out and Sentry the power of a million exploding sun.Something has to be going on that was not shown because there is not way they can both revert at the same time.Yeah I would also like to know what the whole glowing eyes was about.

I'm both a pimp for SENTRY and WWH and I think that it was quite clear that SENTRY was feeling that he needed to let off some steam and that he also felt that he needed to be punished or beat on too... Why else would he let WWH take 6,7,8 free shots at him without any A. defense B. immediate retaliation. The fight shows that both WWH and SENTRY have GODLIKE durability... As we saw during the series it self WWH tore through everyone in MARVEL earth against some extremely strong and durable characters and teams and for the most part with ease. (FF, X-men, AVENGERS in addition to BB and the Inhumans all pretty damn easily).

And we've all seen what The SENTRY has done to everyone he's been faced against Micheal(with 100's of mutants powers), TERRAX, AM, SHETRON (a team killer whether you like to admit it or not) EXTREMIS IM 😄 (think he doesn't belong ask Graviton and Super-adaptiod).

Just before the send off to planet Incredible HULK had his powerset upgraded significantly and then at the end of the PLANET HULK run he was upgraded significantly again prior to coming back to earth. So he was at that time the "MOST" powerful incarnation of HULK ever as was stated on panel... So if he was mid-herald before the 2 powerset upgrades he was probably high-herald after them and with the way he crushed everyone on MARVEL earth I wouldn't disagree with that statement.

That all being said you had 2 high-heralds going face to fist for 2/3 of an entire book. Both WWH and The SENTRY where going pretty much all out (outside of the beginning w/SENTRY) and I have to say that it was definitely but unfortunately a stalemate. It's kind of a vicious circle the HULK haters wont admit that he's really that powerful now even after stalemating The SENTRY and The SENTRY haters will say see he couldn't even beat WWH.

The SENTRY wanted to take a beating for whatever was going on in his psycho mind he felt he deserved one and didn't fight with any strategy outside of face to fist and that's obviously right in WWH's wheelhouse. WWH just did what he does...He's the ultimate brick...Unlimited strength,durability and HF.

In the end they both ran out of power and were too beat down and ended up reverting back to their original human forms Bruce and Bob.

Where Bruce knocked out Bob... Say what you want it wasn't WWH and The SENTRY in the final seconds of the fight... It was Bruce and Bob.

Final count

WWH vs. SENTRY Draw

Bruce vs. Bob Bruce

It definitely was a great fight and extremely brutal fight... But a stalemate none the less.

Where was sentry when hulk raged on about miek, where was sentry to stop hulk? when hulk beats miek throws around everyone else and starts getting bigger and gamma energy is going everywhere...where is sentry? when they feel the tremors from hulk around the world(country) and he tells them to stop him...where is sentry

Everybody seems to forget that Sentry did speed blitz Hulk and got punched for his trouble.

Speculation about Sentry wanting punishment ot whatever is not valid. Reed and Stark stated that Sentry never showed that much power and Sentry himself states that he's never been able to let loose as he did. 😆
