I thought it was pretty good except for the BB "fight" and Dr. Strange. I mean Strange is like "Yo, Hulk has never been stronger so lets each fight him one at a time instead of attacking him all at once." Yeah, I know he didn't really say that exactly, but the whole let's prepare for him each in our own way thing didn't really make sense to me.
Maybe I'm just bitter because Iron Man is by far my favorite Marvel character.

Yeah, that's sort of what Dr.Strange said. "I'm too stuck up to send him away again, so let's fight 'im one at a time."
Seriously though, we didn't get to see him fight BB? No wonder he'll beat everyone if they skip the fights and just declare Hulk the winner. This I can't stand really, they can't find a way for Hulk to beat him, so they skip the entire fight. "We suck at writing yo, so Hulk wins".
Iron Man's new armor looks like the shittiest one til today's date. It almost made me laugh, it looked like Cable from back in the day xD
Pretty decent art and such, but this jobbing won't cut it. Won't surprise me if Juggernaut has his powers back, he and Hulk fight off panel and The Hulk wins. Civil War was better than this.
Actually, they skipped the fight to make you feel the same shock as the characters who didn't witness the fight. It's a common tactic. It has nothing to do with not being able to write. I mean, it's not as if it's impossible to defeat Black Bolt or anything.....
But anyway, very good issue. I just wish they'd let this Hulk emote a little. I mean beyond anger and rage.
A good first issue. (except for the Black Bolt thing)
Tony's characterization was good, and its nice to see him acting like a hero again. (although he was kind of a dick in the beginning of the issue)
Another good thing about this issue was that it cleared up a lot of things for me, like why Hulk is so angry with the Illuminati. To him, the destruction of Sakkar was like 9/11 and the terrorists were the Illuminati.

They did a good job on Tony, I agree. The facial art was just amazing, Romita is a god at times. I loved his work on AS and I love it here.

I can kind of see the shock factor, but I didn't really buy into the whole encounter. Why would Black Bolt turn his back to the Hulk after the first whisper, and with Hulk jumping at him saying "I wanna hear you scream" all it would've taken was a another whisper to launch him into space.
I wouldn't have had a problem with it if the last image of their encounter was Hulk grabbing BB's entire head or something so he can't talk and smashing him into the ground.

😂 Yeah the planning by MarvelEarth sucks so far.
Strange: Lets go off and do our own thing while he hunts us down one by one.
Tony: Remember guys you can't stop him with sheer physical might. I'm gonna go get in a fist fight with him.
Reed: nuts Ahhhhhhh . . . save me Robert!
BB: What are you . . . gllaggahk hukhluguh . . .

Oh sure, I don't disagree. But I was just pointing out that if the fight takes place off screen, it doesn't necessarily mean bad writing.
I see what you mean, but if that's your idea of what would be plausible enough, then it might as well have happened that way. Blackbolt may have been scared or stunned for a brief moment. I mean, the last time they fought, it took only a whisper to knock him out, so I can imagine how he feels.
