World war hulk

World War Hulk is so stupid.

Galactus, Stardust, and Silver Surfer are about to destroy a cosmic entity, and yet, they only get the New Fantastic Four to help...

Hulk arrives on Earth, and every hero on the planet is teamed up to take him down...

So accordingly, they only need four to five people to stop Galactus and his heralds, but they need a whole planet to stop Hulk...
Hell, they even got the New F4, and Reed, and IW to help build a machine to stop him.

Although both stories are shit (I mean that as in the premise of it), but still...😬

Judging the story on the premise was your first mistake, then comparing World War Work to Fanstastic Four was your second. IMO I got far more enjoyment from the single issue of WWH than I have from his entire run on F4, it's alot better written.

But obviously your point is undeniable, I guess in the end.. people just can't be bothered to go into space. 'Cause really if you were.. Doc Samson, would you bother to get somebody to fly you all the way into space just so you can stand around seeing as your powers are so wonderfully ineffective against cosmic entities? It'd be annoying if 100's of heroes got involved in cosmics stories.

The New F4 is retarded, I'll say it, but even then if you compare Hulk to the other writing, it just makes both seem pointless.

They have reason to be freaked out about the Hulk though, when he comes back pissed as hell with allies (taking BB's scream and defeating him, which I think is BS, but oh well) then you really do have reason to be scared shitless. The fact he broadcast it kinda gets a bit more attention, don't you think? Also the whole Initiative thing means they get to call up more heroes, Stark probably thinks the more of his foot soldiers he sends in the better.

But Galactus has become old hat really, he's been beaten too many times for people to be truly scared of him. People have become used to the heroes coming and saving the day and fending him off, so naturally aren't as scared.

I agree 100% though, that is still quite shitty writing.

What I'd like to know is how everyone knows who BB is. They should've finished Illuminati and Silent war first.

He cleary calculated the necessary distance to stay away from the thunderclap effects in order to not suffer any damage whatsoever.

I dont really see any jobbing, tho. Hulk and Hercules usually can go toe to toe and now Herc is facing a higher version without any powerup of his. And he still did well enough here: still strong to put him down and tough to withstand followed hits without going down or getting ko, with the point of reasoning with Hulk.

And no one can say Hulk wasent angry.

i don't like how they are both roughly the same size

As much as i like Deodato as an artist, Hulk shouldnt look that big compared with other powerhouses. He should be bigger, broader but not by that much of an ammount like seen under Kirby and Dikto and Buscema.

Keep in mind that Hercules also towers over regular humans and even guys like Captain America so its not far fetched.

All this to say that the way GF ilustrated both are fine by me, IMO.

I based my comment Hulk is a moron on how he went to nuts when they said they wanted to help. And he would of killed cho if herc didnt put a beat down on him.

No one can ever say that people are jobbing to the hulk. Becasue seen right here Hulk got laid out big time. So the people Hulk beats like Black Bolt and such is becasue of mental upgrades.
