Yes,because this hulk isnt any different than he has been in the past....😐

Uh...It changed twice in Civil War(or around that time and now recently)
Do you need me to explain what happened....cause I dont want to.

He's throwing histrionics. Whoopdeefreakindoo...

Did you actually read Civil War😘-Men, out of curiosity? Not that I recommend you do considering it was craptacular.

Also why do you quote weird.

checking the storm respect thread, seeing if there were any other highly-exaggerated feats she could try against the hulk.
😆

One of the Storm fanboy trio said she left because it was in the "Hero's Code".... 🤨

but none of them were asian.

The one where he overloaded Bishop due to mind control and later couldnt stop it and was shooting his beams into the sky,the time he took off his red shades(not the visor)and the whole page went red and he knocked back a sentinel and some trees and now in WWH#2.

twice? he broke his subconscious blocks in civil war, due in part to being mind controlled. that's once. the whole civil war thing was one feat, based around his mind being tampered with.

in astonishing, all he did was take off his visor. there was no indication that it was his "maximum," and assuming it was and invoked a change of his max, instead of assuming it wasn't and didn't, seems illogical.

i guess you could include a "current" max power of nothing, given that he can't access them in astonishing.

he isnt any different? please...

civil war wasnt even written by a proper x-men writer, and he still managed to overload bishop and blow the arm off a super-sentinel... and thats not enough to at the very leats knock the hulk back?

you dont have to try and explain anything... i know full well cyclops' capabilities...

i'm saying there's really only been the one change, the continual output from civil war being one feat. unless you want to count his powers being inactive in astonishing. and now this pittance of a "max" in wwh, which i assumed you weren't directly referencing.

and don't discredit civil war: x-men entirely. it did have the most adorable scene of violence i've ever seen; with micromax happily punching beast out of midair. it looked like a kid on halloween punching a teddy bear.

the artist does change how cyclops' blast looks at full power, that is true, but one thing that has been consistent is the sheer force that accompanies cyclops' full on blast... it may vary slightly, but at that range, he should be ripping of his visor and knocking hulk on his ass...

that said, hulk would be back up seconds later, more pissed than before...

question (in general): if the x-men were intent on not killing hulk, why would cyclops (of all people given how much he himself fears just how damaging his power can be) decide to go full power?

So are you saying since his subconcious blocks were removed it was more powerful and not a true showing of his "Regular Max".

because this entire event isn't based around storytelling, or logical progression or even adhering to plot; it's all just one big "look what hulk can do/take/disk out" after another. cyke went to full power because the writer's wanted to show that hulk could take it; despite years of character development being swept under the rug.

Cyclops has never been stated as using any "regular max," a relatively casual blast where he took off his visor levelled a Sentinel and forest, and he made sure Wolverine and Colossus were behind him first.

Yep, so much of Cyclops' character is in how restrained he's been throughout his life purely out of fear of the power behind his eyes.

Also this isn't just about "look what Hulk can do" it's also a sales ploy considering it's really not even logical for Hulk to be going after Xavier now just to ask a question. The mini is actually quite pointless. If anything he'd be an afterthought.

t'was awful considerate of him wasn't it?

what i'm saying is him attacking bishop wasn't a display of his max, it was just him being mind-controlled to pouring on the power, i'm just wording it like a retard. the only "max" he really displayed in civil war was when his body went neon and he couldn't shut it off. meaning civil war only had one "change" of his maximum output. whether or not those subconscious blockers that were taken down exist still, after the fact, is hard to say. particularly with emma disabling his powers in astonishing very shortly thereafter.

it would've been cool if he said he'd wanted hulk off his lawn, too. i enjoyed that line.

I dont know,I think kitty was the only one who held back, and even then Beast said he was not sure if it would have worked on Hulks physiology.

it all has to be taken in the context of that comic though doesnt it? it's like being in a fight, and deciding not to hold back, and then getting a massive cramp... you aren't holding back, but for some reason you aren't able to do what you usually can...
