I never said anything like that. I said the troops should be evacuated and the war ended. I never suggested killing troops. Staying there is what is getting them killed.

Thats your subjective opinion, many shows like Real Time are fairly unbiased and objective.

Real Time being one of my favorite shows, it is VERY much biased. That is like saying the Daily Show gives it to you with no bias.

what people shud realise is that the war has as much to do with right or left wing politics as it has to do with helping the iraqi people out. the funding wont stop now and itl stop when itl stop n that wont be determined by people's oppinion or right vs left politics.

That depends greatly upon the guests involved and how informed the viewer is.

The host Bill Maher does try his best to keep it impartial, he's told the audience to shut up before when they go after republican guests, give the guy the credit he deserves.

even maher himself has a very clear liberitarian anti-statist bias, if not as crazy liberitarian as other personalities like Penn Gillette

maybe i am remembering it more from his politically incorrect days where he seemed more comfortable using the show like a pulpit. I love the man, but would hardly call him objective.

I agree with that. Most of these comedy interview people are good at making sure the audience is kind to their guests.

What seperates these guys from those like Bill O'Rilley imho.

yes, but in real political philosophy there are more than two sides to an argument.

Bill Maher has a position that is often in disagreement with both American parties, and he is willing to defend it.

In all honesty, Bill Maher's general support of Democratic candidates simply because they are the lesser of 2 evils is something I do not agree with, but it is understandable.
