Wow. Considering that the Democrats are the "liberal" wing of American politics and Republicans are "conservative"...who could have possible imagined that ... all of a sudden... Dems would appear liberal and Republicans conservative! This revelation is stunning, too bad other people figured it out in the 1930s.
Secondly, its tremendously amusing that Democrats are all "liberal or moderate." American government theoretically functions on controlling the moderate center. If Republicans no longer represent moderate America, which our current Federal officials have ceased to do, then the Democrats will win the next election.
Lastly...being moderate is interpreted as a good thing. It often means your actually analyzing informations in stead of being an ideologue. I guess Democrat is the place to be then.

Your proud that republicans are rigid and uncompromising? And I know you don't have moderates, they were pushed out of your party. Now your only left with hard right conservatives and the right-wing religious nut jobs (Ann Coulter)

It is the what Liberals belive in and has to be right all the time and other stuff. You no doubt has the same feelings for us Repubicans.Again the two partys can't win becaues both feel the same way for each other.JM
Wait. You sit there and say liberals are always wrong because Liberals are the ones that always have to be right?
the concept of being a "liberal" presupposes a context by which you frame political discourse and thus how you will perceive the truth of the situation. In many cases, these partisan beliefs will lead you to conclusions about subjects based on ideological cues within it, before you even know the specifics of a situation.
Any "moral" or "belief" with regards to politics will lead you to this problem.

Correct but if you have a party that does not represent any particular ideology, no one will vote for them. People vote in politicians to see their goals and values reflected by the actions of the party they vote in.
