Uh...gave it some thought...still undecided.

Only conclusion I've come up with is that team 2 has the better teamwork.

Other than that...I'm still waiting for some output from seasoned fans of each combatant.

Sentry can't stand up to Superman or Kyle at this point. Not in my opinion, at the least.

Thor would go down to Kyle, and a Thor written in-character goes down to Superman.

That'd make this DC's fight.

You are absolutely correct about Sentry not being able to standup too Superman. In Mighty Avengers #1, Iron Man tries to recruit Aries, but when Aries refuses, IM estimates it will take a combines effort of 5 superheros to take down Aries. Problem is Sentry is one of the 5 mentioned and since he has the power of thousand exploding suns, he should be able to take down aries himself.

Perhaps marvel will expose his true powers later on, But as of right now, Superman and Kyle for the win.

Team one may take it as it depends of how Thor can hang against Kyle. I think that since the automatic defenses can be sapped by mjolnir and then Thor can absorb the energy from the ring itself Kyle would not win the mayority without prep. Sentry can at least hold himself against Supes before it becomes two against one.

Thor has Magic, Sentry is probably one of the most powerful guys in the MU atm AND Guy222 said they'd win.

Team 1 10/10

Sentry's considerably brain addled, Kyle not so much.

Kyle's powers have a delay combined with his very human insecurities he's a clever villain's wish come true.

Kyle can easily shield Kal-el from Thor's magic. Eventhough I think Kal-el's weakneses are not what they used to be.

You know, that's the main reason I was undecided in this matchup. Sentry's status-quo. If he truly is everything marvel hyped him up to be, the match becomes much closer. Right now Sentry can't hang with someone of Supes' caliber, or Kyle's versatility.
