Why and How did you join KMC?

Particularly the one's who hang around the comics section.

I think it was 2 years ago I googled a VS match, KMC was the first site I found as one of the searches led me here...& I registered, made a couple good threads and liked it here. later on i tried other sites like comixtreme, comixfan but they seemed too lame to me ionno. and CBR is great for info and stuff...but it had too much traffick on the forums, it just turned me off. Now all I go is here and SHC. 😖mart:

I joined due to interest in the Philosiphy and Religion sections.

I found this place looking for a certain comic character (Tyrant), I came across it in a random search, and then I read some threads, and joined a year later...

i typed in Venom vs spiderman on google, and it took me here.

hmmI have a friend who runs another site. KMC is fun. Better for us older men 😄

I hadn't been reading comics for a while and I wanted some info on Hulk, Batman, X Men and Captain Marvel (DC). KMC was among many sites that my search found. I researched the threads of different sites and found KMC to be my favorite.

I stumbled upon it one night, while doing some research on Odin.

There're more "debators" per se on kmc...initially i joined cbr but they have way too many posts concerning anime that dominate every discussion. I have zero interest in anime, and eventually i found my way here.

Looked up info on The Sentry and stumbled upon one of Adam Warlock's threads hyping him up beyond belief. I still remember the post to this day.

I was reading ASM #500. I saw the full-page spread of him fighting numerous battles from his history, including vs. Juggernaut. I got excited that maybe Spidey could beat Juggs.

A google search and some questionable debating later, and I was hooked.

I was bored and wanted to talk about comics, no-one I know reads them so I went to the internet, a quick google search for "spider-man wolverine iron man" and up popped KMC.

I'd been arguing with my friend forever that Ion would easily hand Silver Surfer his ass. All him and his friend would ever come to reply as a on going joke was, "Who the hell is Ion?". So I finally remembered one day at a friends house with Internet and looked it up. It brought me here to a Ion vs Parallax thread and my first thread was born.

A month or two later I finally got Internet hooked up at my house and I was addicted. Been just getting worse ever since. 🙂

I was watching porn, my mom walked into the house, I tried to hurry and click off the page, clicked some random shit, and here I am...

I looked up the marvel hierarchy thread, got entertained, took a two year break then joined.

After I got banned from the CBR forums, I searched for a new comic forum.

And the respect threads got me hooked here 😬

I used to come to Killermovies a lot (not the forum, but the actual site) and just read movie news/reviews and so forth.

Then, I clicked on a link to the comic versus section and read through some of the threads. Eventually I became a member and liked it here!

Been here since 2004. I don't post as much in the versus section anymore, but that's how I started off.
