Anyhow, that's merely an opinion. Some people think it's appropriate to defend against such actions.

It's like saying punching someone back after they hit you is just as bad.

It's all circumstantial and that philosophy pertaining to those kind of scenarios is overly subjective.

It has everything to do with what I said. Bashing back is just as much against the rules as bashing someone to begin with here, and your opinion about how it can be excusable is completely and totally irrelevant. You thinking it can be warranted does not make it okay.
