As I said before, if you had said your piece, defended yourself and dropped it, your reputation would look better. Now it probably looks worse than it did when creating the thread, and you have played a part in that. It's obviously not just you, but you should accept some responsibility.

If you had the willpower to just rise above it and realise that like it or not, respect is earned (Which is what you said you wanted.), then you'll have a much more enjoyable time here.
Why do you WANT people's respect if you're content with being you and don't care about others anyway? Makes no sense.

Don't put words in my mouth; I never said that I didn't care about others. I said I did not care what they thought of me. I believe in mutual respect, as I've stated around four hundred times now.
I came here and I was nice to others. I treated people with respect to a certain extent. I got spat on (Figuratively, of course), I was called gay, I was insulted and all my threads were bashed. I would defend myself of course, and often I went about it in a nice way . . .
I'd still get bashed and the majority would utilize their fancy rhetoric and make me look like Mr. Bad Guy, despite coming in and openly attacking me.
I've gone through this so many times now. It seems people have difficulty understanding where I'm coming from.

Everyone gets insulted, called gay or something or other at some point, Sorgo. All the more reason why I keep telling you this isn't the place to come if you want serious discussions, it's just not logical.
You believe in mutual respect, but not everybody does, and that's not exactly wrong. I'm not going to mutually respect someone by default, and neither should you. You choose to, so you shouldn't take offense just because others do not share that.
I'm not saying not respecting you means they have to be disrespectful, being civil is different to respecting someone, but still, you can't expect that. It's hardly fair.
