it was kind of a joke and i consider myself a liberal at least in regards to social issues 😛

but in my experience with liberals and conservatives, liberals tend to be the most judgmental and knee jerking dicks on the face of the earth by comparison... case in point this forum. god forbid you make a post that paints homosexuality/homosexual acts in a negative light even if its in a facetious or not intentionally offensive manner.

another example being the haiti thread ermm

Stupid black person.

As opposed to conservatives, where god forbids you be homosexual in the first place...

Yeah, just like those damn {insert sterotype}! Those people are always (always) just as awful. All the time. Every last one. Without exception. All of them.

All.

So I assume, you would have been fine taking your son off all life support at the time, because it was unnecessary and God would provide?

Had his son recovered in a church, and prayer been his only treatment, he might have an argument; but attributing the recovery of his son to divine intervention when he received medical treatment is an irrelevant conclusion.

Final post #4755, nearly 6 years of KMC forums use:

Well fellows, to each his own. I can't convince you enough, preach to you enough, or do any other thing on my own to change your minds.

Nor do I want to.

That was not the purpose of this thread. Rather, it was to give glory to God for the good things He has done.

I had been off KMC for close to 2 years and wanted to leave my personal story in my thread before taking off, and honestly the reactions have not surprised me.

What if you're right? What if there is no God, Jesus was just a nice guy who was killed, an all of the things posted in this thread were mere happenstance and coincidence?

I suppose that would make me and mine some of the most coincidental and luckiest people ever to exist on the earth...

[b]1.)My father-in-law was healed of Hepatitus C, with blood and white feces coming from his insides and a grim prognosis. (that was 25 years ago and subsequent scans have shown that there is no trace of Hepatitus C, which is supposed to never leave the body fully)

2.)A close neighbor was healed of Lupus, after 5 confirming tests. 3 subsequent test confirm that it's gone. No treatment in this case, just a prayer of faith.

3.)Throat cancer, brain cancer, ruptured and torn spleens of toddlers that fall from 2nd story windows, autism (you read that right), learning disabilities (no ability to comprehend or hardly read or write instantly healed and the child able to add/subtract/multiply/divide INSTANTLY), and other diseases/conditions healed

And of course, my own son's dramatic testimony of being born at 22 weeks gestation, written off for dead or severly handicapped despite ANY POSSIBLE medical help, and his subsequent healing, health, and prosperity of life.

You think of me as a deluded fool I suppose, but consider:

Isn't it strange that there should be such a high-rate of supposedly miraculous events happening not just in a general sense, but directly to my family, my friends, and people I know personally? And isn't it even more of coincidence that the people who believe that these things can happen are the ones who "just by dumb luck" seem to get that answer?

Much to ponder, I hope it leaves you thinking.

As it is, I've enjoyed my time here and have far more to do in life, in marriage, family, and in ministry to argue.

Either by random blind luck, or by the evidence of a very real God making Himself known to me, I've seen and witnessed enough to believe.

And like Paul, "Not having obtained perfection, I move onward and upward towards the high calling of Christ Jesus in my life."

I join Elijah Waters w/ 2,000 young people, Joel Stockstill with 7,000 young people, Carl Lentz w/ 3,000 young people, and scores of other leaders around the world in preaching the truth of the Gospel of the GRACE of Jesus Christ and of the POWER and MIRACLES of the cross to this generation.

Peace and chickengrease.

I would consider it a miracle if your son turns out to be gay.

He is right though, there is a lot more to do in life than argue with those who won't listen and those who feel the need to degrade someone's joy after beating all odds. I hope that all of you find that truth but if not then you will in the end. Cheers and have fun in life!

You are negitive. You also assume too much.

Impossible, Jesus wouldn't have saved him to begin with.

We're supposed to be made in gods image; if you cut god's arm off, can he grow it back?

Perhaps. Would that mean God was made in Wolverine's image?

What's the chance of that? 1 in 20...40 maybe?? Yeah, definitely a miracle.

Does love and happiness disgust you as well? Does the fact that people have turned their lives around for the better because of this belief disgust you? All the church's ive been to, all the lives I've seen turn around, and the help I've wittnessed in the christian community... does that disgust you as well?
Would you support a cause that impeded progress for centuries, is used to justify everything from wars, torture, bigamy, and televangelism, is filled with fanatics that misinterpret their own doctrine, and is filled with die hards who reject rationality and common sense?

Maybe you just like focusing on nothing but the negative. That's fine.
So many people like to look past the negative side of things and focus on the positive. But it's the negative side of things that cause the discord and suffering. Someone has to focus on it.

However, these things are not caused by religion. These are caused by humans. If religions had never existed, we would have simply found some other way to do the evil we do.

Only if you count the time when Wolvie had the Crystal of Ultimate vision and had power on par with Eternity.

I mean . . . 😕

Nevermind.

It is a complete sentence, just an awkward one.

Although the "so" needs to go.

I wouldn't support anything that would do such. But religion is the perpetrator now, so that's the target.
