Or what if hes just a fan that doesnt know anything about star wars and hes to stupid to understand the expanded universe, so he hates it? People should look up SS on google, and there you are. i think you would like the tales of the jedi comics. They deal with the hyperspace war,and the great sith war. Then there are the knights of the old republic comic that deal with the pre and aswell as during the madalorian wars although its main character is not in the kotor games other characters make appearances in it possibly even revan and malak (see my revanchism thread)
In terms of books i would recommend the Darth Bane Path of Destruction (and soon to have a sequel in december) labrynth of evil which leads up to the revenge of the sith movie,rise of darth vader and the thrawn tirlogy. the NJO books are pretty decent too and the legacy of the force books are ok but lots of people have a problem with them including me to a certain extent.

Then I must be one of those stupid people....pal 😠 because I read up on everything about Kyle Katarn from EU and the character I'm auditioning for come next decade. How he is from the Sulon system the farthest moon to the Sullust system, his father Morgan was killed by the Empire for treason, how Kyle took out a whole dozen of Dark Jedi single-handedly. Jerec the Dark Jedi that almost killed him. How he feel in love with Jan Ors of the Moldy Crow starfighter and yes how Kyle Katarn discarded his badges as a fleet officer for the Imperial Navel Acadamy as soon as he learned of how the Empire killed Morgan. But...Shadow has said on numerous times, EU doesn't represent George Lucas.
