here you can read the comics but it too is in russian (i use to navigate it well before they changed the layout and even then it was in russian and only now can i navigate it again) and the sad part is that my cousin married 5 years ago to woman who born in aswell as her family from russia.

I look for it when im out at barnes and nobles is it in this months star wars insider magazine?

Yeah, it should be on stands now. Barnes and Nobles should have it, thats where I will look for it to pick up a backup copy.

I haven't read the Thrawn Trilogy yet, I hear its very good.

The Jedi Apprentice series has 18 books in it, along with 2 special editions, so a total of 20 books. Then that series ended. And Jedi Quest began, Jedi Quest has 10 books, and another that is a hard cover that set it all up, so a total of 11. Then Jedi Quest ended, and That Last of the Jedi began, and currently has 8 books out, and I believe 2 more will be coming out soon, and then I think its finished with a total of 10 books. Almost all of these books are written by Jude Watson.

The whatever Vong invasion thing though is hilarious.

So unoriginal. It totally doesn't fit in Star Wars.

Yuuzhan Vong lol.

😂 You know what's sad? I don't even know what that is. That just shows how much I know about stuff after ROTJ.

Yeah, that's just weird. And Luke dying? He was supposed to embody the new age of the Jedi. He can't grow old and die. And how a bunch of adults can come along and become Jedi. That's just weird, my good lady.

I'm not sure. I think somewhere between 17 and 20. How many Jedi Quest are there? And that new series about the Jedi being hunted. I can't remember what it's called.

It's a book located on the SW timeline just right after ROTJ lol. It's one of the after-ROTJ books i like....

I don't like it when the original chars. die.... Chewbacca, Luke... It's kinda weird. They should've just stopped there, or explored some other character in the SW... there are a lot anyway... maybe make their own or something close.

Meh, the bunch of adults are alright... Some of the stuff are just plain weird anyway... Like Luke having love interests... I've read some books that Luke got together/liked a girl and it's just too weird.

The name escapes me... I think I've seen it in the nearby bookstore.
I need to finish the bloody Jedi Apprentice series.

Does anyone else like books situated between Ep. 3 and 4?

😂 I obviously don't care about what happened after the movies. At all.

Why? Jealous? 😛

Ah, do you know exactly how many books there are in the Jedi Apprentice series?

Yeah, I like the Last of the Jedi series.

Nice Danny Phantom avatar by the way. :-)

Post-ROTJ books and books filling in the Dark Times between Ep.3 and Ep.4 never really interested me.

Your welcome. I get my books usually at Barnes and Nobels, if you have one around you. The Watson books are in the older children's section (I began reading them in grade school), so don't feel embarrassed when you walk in there lol.

I'm not too interested in the EU novels. I own the first Jedi Aprentice and thats it. The only other EU stuff I buy is the video games.

And good luck!

sorry to go off topic again, saw this on supershit
Had you originally planned something else for this scene? Or did you just run out of time and money? (SuperShadow: Yes, exactly. You need to understand that Lucas was cash poor in the early 1980's. Lucas had to take all of his share of the profits from A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back to pay for making Return of the Jedi. Return of the Jedi had a budget of about $ 32 million U.S. dollars. Currently, that sum would be about $ 70 million U.S. dollars in 2007. Most blockbuster films, like the Transformers movie, cost no less than $ 150 million U.S. dollars. So you can see Lucas didn't have much to work with back then.)
the person asking the question above was talking about the sarlacc pit scene in ROTJ
puzzles me, it sounds like supershit worked on ROTJ!! if he is around my age (35) or younger, then thats some going for a lad of arounf 10 yrs old

Today SS said something hilarious!

"SuperShadow: Rick is too busy attacking the buffet eating bars to work on Star Wars."

LOL

Hahaha

is it just me or is this thread going around in circles

Id say the wheel completes itself every time katarn comes and calls someone scourge or something. Speaking of him he may be banned soon considering he called Rex(who is a mod) a scourge terd in the grievous thread.

this thread wouldnt go around in circles if folk stayed on topic

Because starwars.com = canon, (unless Lucas eventually makes a public statement against it.)

BTW: I'm sure he'd just troll us with socks if he got banned....it doesn't seem like he has much else besides KMC.
