Bumping this to add two to my list.
Legend of Dragoon, How I forgot to add this I cannot fathom, this is by far one of the best games I have ever played, great gameplay, good story, very good graphics for the time if I recall right, a masterpiece.
And now, Tales of the Abyss. I borrowed this game from my friend recently, and love it, the plot is excellent, the gameplay does not disappoint, the voice acting is good, it is the best of the Tales series by far IMO.

Sorry but your incredibly biased opinions don't equate to fact, people have their opinions and all.
The best thing is i have played the majority of FF games and i personally feel that mass effect(story wise) surpasses the vast majority of FF save for maybe FFX.
But i will agree with you on one thing, FF music > the majority of WRPG music.

Nah. VI is a masterpiece, its plot may not be as complex or grand as other games, but it's among the most powerful. It relies on wonderful characters more than a grand plot, having one of the all time great villains. I loved Mass Effect, but the plot was not amazing. VI beats it, I think.

Heck, even Vagrant Story had a better plot.
FF6 clearly outshines them all in the storyline department. With IV a close second.
A better plot than Mass Effect or any WRPG = FACT.

And stop thinking that what ever you say = gospel. Don't be that someone(I can't name who) that thinks what ever he/she says is facts and actually bans you if you keep arguing and get aggresive.

I've played a lot of JRPGs and WRPGs.
Comparing WoW or Fallout to any JRPG is either a joke or plain stupidity.
I'm American, but I'm not being "patriotic" about the shitty RPGs they've been making.
We Americans are good in FPS and sports games. Let's stick with those genres.
You can disagree with what I say, but it's the truth.
