Why would I get retconned. I am just a normal person in the Marvel world. It's not like I am married to Peter Parker or something. Worse case scenario since I am a normal person I get get powers during House of M then lose them when things go back to normal.

Well becoming a hero was never an option in my original post. So that would not be a factor for me. If others decide they want to try and become heroes well that's on them. I stated you are just a normal person.
