I get your point lol (Thor is still a better warrior but Clark is no slouch. He has been trained by Diana, Ted, Bruce etc.).

I could understand that, but I see it as I see speed for Superman to an extent. It's a viable tactic to an extent, but because they rarely use it, it's become part of their characters.

I could understand how it's more of a T-Vo plot device though. Good Point.

Well Good Night dude. I'm going to bed as well soon. Just need to finish typing up a report.

It's not really rare though, and again his stats are attributes of his biology so it's just how he is. A full capctiy all competitiors are expected in peak condition, unless the thread maker specify's otherwise.

Moving this to the Superman forum.

here are the marvel folks who CAN beat superman inside the Suns Core.

1) TOAA
2) LT
3) Thanos with HOTU

Why can he not under the right circumstances?

That list you wrote is great but pointless....

🙄

Christ, some times arguing with people who don't even understand the simple concept of the thread is pointless.

What is wrong with you? I'm already aware of the "can defeat" so I don't know why you keep bringing it up. It is fairly simple and straight forward matter. Here it is again.

I don't know how you got Superman cannot fight back, cannot dodge, block, not allowed to use speed, H2H, must remain a statue, etc., from the above.

There is no circumstance where Thor going to be able to anything about an amped Superman wailing on his face.

So you tell me what this "circumstance" is where you think Thor "can defeat" an increasingly amped Superman at the core of the sun.

Who said otherwise?

I just assumed that his personality would come into play at least, but I was wrong.

If you are aware, then why are we having this conversation?

Well your completely oblivious so...

I'm still looking forward to your "circumstance" where Thor "can defeat" an amped Superman in core of the sun.

What about Wolverine guice?

I think both Firestorm and the Silver Surfer could get a win or two in the right circumstances, same with Hal Jordan.

Eradicator.

Do you read Superman comics at all?

What comics do you read, that tell you that Superman will "surely" go all out, and will "surely" speed blitz an opponent he has never meet before?

He has never done this, unless mind controlled etc. so why are you assuming he will do this now?

It doesn't seem that you read Superman comics either. Just check the Superman respect thread. There are a bunch of Superman blitzes listed. Quite a few on opponents he's never faced before. He's used it quite often when he just wants to get it over with. Fact: Superman has speed blitzed more than Thor has Godblasted.

You are assuming to much. It's like me assuming that from the moment the fight starts, Thor will redirect all of the Sun's energy and all of Superman's Solar energy into a lethal blast against Superman, in turn wining.

I got a question though how the would absorbing the sun's energy and sending it back at him be considered a good battle plan for Thor? What's Superman gonna do? He'd probably say... "um thanks". Mageddon energy >>>>>>>>>> 1 sun. Superman absorbed energy that destroyed galaxies and the fact that Superman absorbs sun energy the most efficiently is gonna leave a smiling Superman if Thor decides to FEED him the energy from the sun.

Who "CAN beat him? Well if we're using the literal definition than anyone can. Heck even Batgod could with prep time.

In this situation we're given Superman is in his ultimate form. It's like asking if normal unamped Superman CAN win against Thor with Odin/Rune Force.

I've read tons of Superman comics. I don't need to check the respect thread. I won't find anything there that I already didn't know.

Yes he has speed blitzed before, that much is obvious and yes he has gone all out before, but against an opponent he has no clue about. That goes directly against his character.

Besides with Thor's reflexes, he can always set up a barrier around himself that Superman can't get through.

Yes Thor has used the God Blast only a few times in dire situations. It still an option, and if we assume he goes all out like Superman apparently will, then he can use it.

Thor can absorb energy, augment it/change it and such with his own power, and then unleash it. If he absorbed all the energy of the Sun along with Superman's solar reserves, then did such a blast against Clark, than Superman would be no more.

That's what the thread starter asked and I answered it. Thor can beat Superman inside of the Sun with his power set. Would he? I'm not debating that, I'm simply saying he could. Big difference there.

Faulty comparison. It's not my fault Thor is as powerful as he is.

The Sentry unleashed should be able to do it.
The power of a thousand/million suns against the power of one sun ... do the math.

You actually believe that hyperbole? It's just a tagline. Like how Iron Man isn't really "invincible".

I wish I knew what the hell you all were saying.
