28 Weeks Later, it's here!

Hi guys,

I've been waiting so long for this film ‘28 Weeks Later’ to come out and guess what, I just saw the trailer on YouTube! Has anyone seen it yet? I think the visual style looks amazing, don't you think so?! I think this is the best type of horror film because the storyline feels so real like it could happen in the world right now….The song (by Muse) fits really well in the end of the trailer to give the right kind of atmosphere. I can't wait to see this film!

i look forward to it
i liked the first

i prey to what ever greater power that rules this universe that this is a shit hot film, please please please.

does that mean you hope for the movie to be good?

lol, yes, is the phrase "shit hot" not used in the states?
(serious question)

probably somewhere, but it still leaves one confused

I'm not sure where they'll go with this, the first seemed to come to an end.

from the trailer it looks like they took everything I liked from the first movie and turned into another Resident evil movie....Not really expecting this to be any good but maybe I'll be surprised.

If I were you I would wait till it came out on dvd then go rent it.If it is really bad then you know you did not waste your money seeing this firm.jm

thats what im doing

I just saw it

I was a bit disappointed, considering that I really enjoyed the first one.

It wasn't bad, but it definitely felt much more like a generic zombie film, than the realistic tone that the first movie had.

how can you say that, they arent even zombies...

i thought it was good
if you put it into the zombie category then you might think other wise
but they are NOT zombies..

its gets a grade-A for storytelling but a grade-F for visuals.

make it so bad they left it open for a sequel

Really? 😕

I thought the complete opposite.

Aside from the first part of the film, I thought it was WAY to generic and predictable.

However, I thought the visual effects were fantastic for the most part

It pretty much was a zombie movie 😐

The infected aren't undead, but they are still zombies.

Me too. Some of the aerial shots were incredible, and the helicopter in the field part...nice.

I just saw it, and I was a little disappointed, but only because I enjoyed the first one so much. It did lack the grittiness and cold realism of Days, and I wasn't really disturbed by it as I was with the first. Still, has lots of shocks and the body-count is immense even by horror movie standards.

I did like the fact that the movie has no heroes, really. Apart from that sniper guy,

Spoiler:
but like all the characters in Weeks who even begin to exhibit signs of being above panic-ridden zombie-fodder, he meets a horrible end pretty quickly.
I liked the ending too, much more downbeat than the one that nearly ruined Days.
Spoiler:
It was strangely satisfying to walk out of a movie knowing that, well, EVERYONE died. Talk about closure.
Still open for a sequel though, and knowing how irresistible producers seem to find trilogies nowadays, I wouldn't be surprised.
