Yes they do, and they got the order to do this from the US Justice department. The US Justice department even links to the FBI when you ask for the data...

But Starhawk seems to think he found a way around that... Some research paper that I for some reason can not find on the internet, nor can I find the statistics that support the paper. But that's probably just me, Google, the FBI and the Justice department site and it doesn't mean Starhawk is making this up at all.

I also find it really funny that a few pages back his library didn't have a scanner and now of all a sudden it does...

No, I am going to photocopy the reports and take them to kinko's to get them scanned. And no I am not going to jump up and run out right now, I have things to do around my house and I plan to go later on in the afternoon, patience really isn't a virtue for you guys is it? Do you have so little going on in your lives that this is your main focus?

No. But if you are going to make claims, be ready with information beforehand.
