I too was really disappointed. Peter's dark side wasn't dark, it was midly aggressive.

If you're going to give a character a dark side, do it right! Make him very violent, so violent he think's he's going to kill someone. So nasty and aggressive he takes things too seriously, he never loosens up. One nasty son-of-a-***** is what he should've been!

I think that's the point they were trying to make in the film though. Were Eddie Brock was consumed, and fell into the power of the symboit,Parkers darker side of his own human nature wasn't that bad. While it's arguable that if he had worn the symboite suit longer it would have eventualy made him crazy,he could keep control long enough to rid himself of the parasite.

Uh compared to the total do-gooder Peter is, the symbiote bearing one was pretty dark and violent.

He hurt Mary Jane, ruined someone's career without a care, and almost killed his friend in a fight. And he didn't seem to bothered by it.

It might have appeared there was more action in the movie but there were just alot of short battles, unlike the other 2 that had longer fight scenes.

It didnt seem like this one had mroe action in it to me.It seemed like less.Maybe because the Peter/MJ scenes semed longer to me.-Shrug-

Yes but he also seems like a frigging imbecile. They made him seem like comic relief for most of his "dark suite time" with all those stupid and unnecessary scenes of apparent "humour"...it was completely ridiculous, dark peter was made into the joke of the movie when he should have been one of the most serious parts. Plus the "emo Peter" look was just sad.

The actions scenes are the best of the three movies. In general, I don't believe the movie is crap. I actually quite enjoyed it.

Can this friggin franchise get any more lame????

It's basically the same crap all over again!

1. Mary-Jane gets kidnapped by Goblin and calls for a showdown with Spider-Man
2. Mary-Jane gets kidnapped by Doc Ock and calls for a showdown with Spider-Man.
3. Mary-Jane gets kidnapped by Venom and Sandman and....

Can't wait for Spiderman 4th...🙄

4. Mary-Jane gets kidnapped by [insert villains name here]

IMO...

Spidey #1 = The best Spider-Man movie so far.

Spidey #2 = Crap.

Spidey #3 = Better than #2, but not nearly as good as #1... There was way too much packed into this movie, (plus the over abundance of dance scenes was absolutely ridiculous, and an utter waste of time). 😬

I loved Spiderman 3, It lived up to all of my expectations.

Wow, I agree with you in every way, thats exactly how I feel about the 3.

Spidey 3 is a great movie. Excellent thrill ride for 2 and half hours. Venom is great. The fx for Sandman were totally rocking. WHOO HOO WHOO HOO.

I liked it. I didn't approach it with expectations to be just like the comics. The choice to make the symbiote take off was ok for me. It lets you see that Spiderman isn't the perfect hero but he learns from his mistakes. If he had just kept the symbiote on the whole movie, he could easily just excuse his actions while using it(no lesson is learned). But he chose to give in and wear the suit despite his knowledge of what it does to him in a moment of weakness. It shows that he still had a lot to learn about being a super-hero instead of (well the symbiote was controlling him so its not his fault).

yo the movie should of been harry & sandman oriented or symbitote and harry oriented

I agree that the Harry/Spidey relationship should have been emphasized, though originally I thought this was a bad twist. I liked it in the movie. Hell, even venom was well developed. The Sandman was pointless. The entire feel of the movie was rushed. It seemed like they rushed to make it. I didn't like it as much as two. I LOVED II; it's my pride and joy!

Clearly Sam Raimi could put out a piece of dung, dress it up as Spidey and you think it is good. Your choice. Go see it again.

I stick by my comments. The movie was weak. The story was weak. The acting was weak.

I'll watch Spidey 1 and 2 and pretend 3 doesn't even exist.

I love that we both gave you solid responses and all you do is make idiotic accusations.

I disagree, mate. Spiderman 2 was the best of the 3, IMO.

But I agree that the "dance" scenes were truly pointless. Really. I'm at a loss as to why they were filmed.

venom should've taken mj and gwen and done like the goblin in the first movie where he makes spiderman choose....except gwen ends up dead.

actually venom shouldve just killed somebody....anybody!

Spiderman 2 is tied for second place with Spiderman 3 with me. Spiderman 1 ia first place.
