I am thinking of majoring in history........I know a lot about history and still capt would win.

1. Yes it would.

2. He wouldn't chunk it at the phalanx. He'd jump in the middle of them, force them to break ranks and become disorganized, and then begin mowing them down.

What's wrong with him throwing it and wittling them down? He dodges bullets, it's not like they can hit him.

I'd like to see the real life three hundred run a gauntlet full of OTHER histories armies.

X number of Legionaries, X number of Samurai, X number of medieval Knights, X number of etc. Eventually ending with X number of Delta Force, SEAL, or SAS Soldiers. Or something of the sort....

1.No it wouldn't

2.Yes,that is very pheasible. If only they had some sort of long object with a sharp edge they could point up into the air when he jumps and is vulnerable...

I like the idea, but you'd have to give them better weapons and armor to have them stand a chance against armored cavalry, and take the guns away from the guys who have them.

and if he can actually jump that high and far, and if he even get's in there, is actually that ruthless -_-'

depends which type of samuria........the average ones or the bas as imperial guards......

ninja would be good too they confuse the **** out of the 300.

medieval knights would be a cool fight becuase the 300 would have trouble damaging them.

scottish high landers would be a good fight since there strength and saverage fighting styles would be a cool contrast to the spartans speed and disaplin ways

Roman's had more modern weapons, and new battle tactics. That's wear they stop

True, the Romans wouldve studied the Spartans, which I took into account before making this, but I wouldnt say the Romans are as skilled as the Spartans in CQC.

I've thought about it. Done it. Made threads. Spartans get owned. Their primative and inferior tactics and equipment(bronze=shit) just dont stand up to more modern Armies of Elite men.

it isn't a fair fight in the first place putting warriors from different time periods up against one another. technology varies, and it's because of the growing tech the spartans died out. Arrogant stubborn bastards. In any case, how would the ninja confuse the **** out of spartans, in an open battle field like thermopalye? Pretty straight forward field. You clearly, don't know much about history, as you boast

1. Yes it would.

2. Cap'll manage. He's jumped headlong into gunfire. He'll be able to weave between the spears, get them confused and disorganized, mow some down, and get to safety. Cap is a tactically genius. He'll manage.

You'd have to take technology into account, and either give them equalizers (steel arms), or just moderate the numbers.

I'm sure the three hundred could take out six SAS troops, for example...

and the spartans weren't, You give Cap way to much credit. Once he's in there, how the hell is he getting out? And it's a long shot, at that, for him to even get in there

2.So he'll leap 20 foot into the air, somehow weave between spears in midair, land on raised shields and then force his way in?Right...

who said any thing about open battle field? I not boasting any thing you seem to think your the only one who knows history. You arrogrance is amazing.

First of all you ever hear of a thing called smoke bombs? If the ninja tricked the spartans into fallowing them into the woods they could make the spartans think they had far more men they they did. It a known fact that ninjas were designed to kill sameria and that most of there encounter they were infact out number but using things such as smoke bombs as well as other devices they were able to confuse there enemies into thinking there was many times there number. They pride them selfs on there ability to sneak attack opponets and then seem to fanish and then repeat a similar attack from another dirrection. Spartans would be unsure of wha to do, becuase they have never fought an army that fights in such away. They woudl then become disorganized.

By the way I am a war world 1 and 2 buff. Don't assume I don't know events in history when you know nothing about me you pompiss prick.

This all hasn't even begun to mention the fact that these guys are real-life humans. Captain America can easily move faster than the human eye can follow. And, he can easily stay at his peak for plenty long enough to take all 300 men out.

As far as 1) goes, care to lemme know WHY Cap couldn't shield throw a phalanx?

Lol word.
Orrrr...machine gunners, guys with high-powered assault rifles, pistols, grenades, etc. etc.

Comic canon fodder basically means nothing. Especially with Captain America.
