Also, it doesn't have to be based off 2003. Say for instance classic Spidey doesn't change his power levels, or Wolverine either. Just because it was made in 2003, it could go until both got drastically changed (ie, until OMD, and whatever it was that depowered Wolverine). Just what I thought that rule meant.

That Thor was superior to Classic Thor and has gone toe to toe with someone who has easily manhandled Classic Thor and withstood attacks that one shotted Classic Thor.
Classic Thor has shrugged off planet destroying attacks, yet the attack that one shotted him didn't even incinerate the near by Avengers. Collateral damage means shit.
Prime shit stomps dimensional barriers, and his fights don't even destroy the surrounding buildings. Thor can shit stomp planets, and so can Silver Surfer, yet their fights don't even destroy the near by asteroids. Collateral damage really means shit at times. I've come to learn that.

Did you read those comics?
The heroes were not waiting to die, they were all gathered together with the Villains to face the Void. Thor never fought the void, but nobody were waiting to die. And since the line-up ranged from Doc Ock to Classic Strange, I'm doubtin' the Void was beating on anybody.
