Oh. There you all are.

I can't believe that even 6 years later people are still so hung up on steroids. Ya know, those "hand/eye coordination" improving steroids that make you a home run king overnight.

Anyone ever both questioning Mark McGuire anymore? Take into account the fact McGwire also hit 49 HR's in his rookie season.

Must be steroids.

Barry Bonds had 10 STRAIGHT seasons where he hit over 30 HR's.

Must be steroids there too. The one's, like I said, that magically impact your hand/eye coordination.

Why is is so many people want to ignore the obvious just to hate someone?

You're an idiot. Every player in the major leagues has hand eye cooridnation. You need it to hit the ball. That is it. Hand Eye Cooridnation has basically nothing to do with how far the ball goes. Steriods do. Steroids made Bonds stronger and more built so when he did hit the ball he would hit a lot harder and farther, thus hitting more homeruns. Bonds might still have been a great player without steroids, but he would most likley NOT be breaking Aarrons record.

And don't give me bullshit about Bonds not having a positive test. HE SAID IT HIMSELF he took steroids in a cream, without 'knowing' it.

yeah enough of that bullshit.Plus the freaking jerk has displayed outrage over the littlest things in the past which is normal for people who do steroids.

No, that was a leaked document, it could have been altered and has yet to be proven true. He hasn't admitted to doing anything. Even ESPN said it yesterday. And quit acting like I'm Bonds? What a weak comeback.

"Leaked Document" is what gives it credibility.
I don't need a strong comeback. Your bullshit does all the work for me.

Yeah you just lost all credibilty with that comment. This document is unofficial and could have been altered. No one refers to that besides asshats like Schilling. Who could have been sued because of his ridiculous comments much the same as yours.

As far as I'm concerned it's always going to be

Home run record:
1. Barry Bonds*

I agree. The problem with this is (guessing here) that probably OVER 50% of MLB players were on the juice. So why just Bonds?

Is it because he is approaching a hallowed milestone? Why?

Yes. That is the exact reason why. If it wasn't for steroids, he would be nowhere near the records he is almost going to overtake now. He did not have natural growth; there is no way in hell that you can change as drastically as he did is such a short time without steroids.

Proof is the key.

Do you have any proof that a person can't change in such short of time.

Do you have any proof that he took steroids?

How do you know that he wouldn't be near the record?

How do you know it wasn't natural growth?

Where the hell is your proof for any of these allegations?

If you went into a court of law and said this, they would point and laugh at you as you were escorted out.

Do you know anything about bodybuilding? He'd have to be in the gym for about 10 hours a day to gain as much muscle he gained within that time, and that doing that workout would in all likeliness seriously damage your muscles. And yes, I do know about this subject. I was taught all this while on my fotoball team from a trainer, and later worked with a professional one on my strength.

Because. Look at his stats before the change. He would never have been near Babe Ruth's record at his rate.

Stated above^

There was a whole book written on it with substantiate proof, Evolution. I don't believe your this daft.

And lastly, why do you defend him so adamantly?

When exactly was the change? Whatever your answer is, I love your ability to pin point when someone took steroids when you don't have any proof. Once again, him gaining weight/muscle is not solid proof. And if he is kept out of his rightful position in the hall of fame when he never admitted to doing steroids nor has he failed a test then there is going to be some problems. A book? You kidding me? You have sunk so low and gotten so desperate that you have to resort to a damn book? Written by who again? reporters? I guess I can write a book and use that as evidence, isn't what what we are doing here?

Nothing you have said is fact, you have provided inadequate proof(book 😆 ) and your hating of Bonds is so pathetic. Do you know him personally? Have you even met him?

Do you even follow the proceedings? the book Game of Shadows has substantiating proof that he took steroids. Dude, think and research before you talk/

1. The book can't be used as proof of anything, like I said it's just reporters.

2. There wasn't even a mention of a failed drug test, you know why? Because he hasn't failed one. People seem to ignore this fact, even Bonds is asking where the failed drug test is.

3. There is no proof of anything, the only proof that could hold up in court is either him admitting to it, a failed drug test or even a video of him putting it into his body.

It's all speculation.

I tend to believe he and his family have "paid" dearly, having been dragged through the media because of nothing but allegations. The funniest part is now that there's no question he's clean he's performing even BETTER than he has in the past few years. Don't you think that if he were on performance enhancing steroids the past few years, he wouldn't have had to miss so many games last season due to injury? Can anyone be so naive as to suggest there are GOOD steroids that are ESSENTIAL for rehab purposes?

And don't give me bullshit about Bonds not having a positive test. HE SAID IT HIMSELF he took steroids in a cream, without 'knowing' it.

He admitted to using a cream. That's far from a conclusive test. You think a ****ing cream will Hulk him up and hit the ball? No. Did yu know that there are steroids in HYDROCORTIZONE CREAM?!

I'm no idiot, and no, not every player in the Major League has hand/eye coordination, namely American League pitchers, because they don't bat, so it's hardly an issue. Do you know who Joe Mauer is? Do you know he't not the greatest in stature? Did you know he's a catcher than won a batting title? Barry Bonds, not even 10 years ago, was the same size while he was on route to his decade long streak of 30+ home run seasons. Same can be said for McGwire. A beanpole crushing balls.

You know what I meant, dude. Every player that is in the line-up(besides pitchers, which I thought would be obvious, but apparently it isn't face-plain) has Hand-Eye cooridnation. It's how much power you have that makes the ball go farther. Steroids = more power.

Joe Mauer is a great player, but a batting title is the best average in the league. It's possible to win a batting title by hitting singles all the time. Joe Mauer or his size has nothing to do with anything on this issue.

Bonds has great hand eye coordination. If he was like every player he wouldn't have hit as many homers as he has so far. No one can see the ball like him, through his eyes, the ball is in bullet time.

Ro, this is where you and shall agree to disagree. I understand how you feel. And, you have every right to feel that way. The thing is I feel that Barry was always one the best baseball players period, juice or no juice. It hasn't been proven that's he taken them. But, I personally feel that he has.

When you get (IMO) one the best baseball players to ever play the game, in today's era (sports nutrition, modern tech, training) with his skills (better than fighter pilot vision, perfect balance through the swinging zone, ability to recognize a pitch 6 inches out of the pitcher's hand), I'm afraid the results are what you see. I mean, does it ever occur to anyone how amazing it is that he can turn on a high inside fastball and jerk it out of the park w/o fouling the pitch off in this face? I mean he contorts his whole body to pull the ball, and yet still keeps it fair? How is that possible? Steriods? Bah.

And, let's not forget the guy has ripped off 500+ career stolen bases, and has umpteen Gold Gloves. Are we going contribute that success to steriods too?

Again, for the record, I will say that he's taken them. They have allowed him to compete and at an insanely unusual pace (today)...to me that's sufficient evidence that he was once on them too. I will also say that he is amongst a handful of the greatest players ever. Yes, he is also an ass/jerk. For that you can hate him.

Yeah the only "sufficient" evidence you could possibly have is a failed drug test, a confession or video/audio proof. You have your little allegations that Bonds and his fans laugh at.

"His body grew, HE MUST BE ON TEH JUICE!"

"Look at his head, he on da juice"

"How is he still hitting HR's at his age? must me dat juice"

How about, "he failed a steroids drug test, he is on the juice".

That's much more better but it is too bad you would be lying straight out of your ass if you said that.

He does have a giant head though, I mean c'mon, that thing is ****in huge!!! It's like he is a human BobbleHead Doll.
