Which character's death would impact Marvel the most?

Superman.

It's comics. They can make any random death seem like the most important thing ever. How many people knew who Sue Dibny was before Identity Crisis? Not too many I'm sure.

Cable dying would be bad.

providence ripe for the picking...

You know actually I agree with this and not just cause I hate Clark.

Seriously if either Superman or Batman ever died, which we all know will never REALLY happen, DC would suffer a huge hit and Marvel would skyrocket. IMO

I know...

I just find it pretty funny that there is a comic book cover with someone concerned that Apocalypse is dead....

That's because he didn't die in the book...

No.
It was just hurting him when he was erecting a shield, in that comic anyway...

And then in the next, well... because I can...

I think I made Trickster wet his pants.

However...

Puh-leeze.

She's all like "Quick! Try to look sexy!", he's all like "Whoa! I think you look sexy!", and Magneto's like "Stupid children, my libido died when I was 15".

And nobody actually gives a damn about Apoc.

Actually, that's true.
When Apoc actually dies later, nobody even says he died, or even cared... even issues later, nothing was said. 😱
