yeah, we don't know that at all. brubaker and fraction have done incredible things with their issues, and this new chap's gonna have a lot to live up to, but we have no idea where he's going to take the book. the only reason it would get cancelled, that we know for certain right now, is if people leave the book without giving the new writer a chance.

I'll still pick up the issues; I'm a big fan of Iron Fist, but I can guarantee that the writing quality is about to go right into the shitter.

and cable is pretty crappy so far, but maybe the guy's just not in his niche. maybe he just doesn't care enough about making cable a compelling story, whereas the buzz surrounding iron fist could make him pump out great stories. we really don't know anything for certain, and i don't aim this solely at you soljer, but this trend towards immediate pessimism is ridiculous.

No matter what people say, this comic is still incredible.

I really don't like Duane what's-his-name, but Iron Fist has actually been pretty consistently awesome since Brubaker and Fraction left it. I'm really enjoying this "Eighth City" arc.

Immortal Weapons has been good so far. 2 was a very weak issue, but 1 and 3 were great. Dog Brother's my favourite, no doubt.
