Neither do we, but it was a serious question.Freedom is something a lot of Americans cite as a main reason for loving the country, as if it's exclusively American.
What can any American do, freedom wise, that any normal human cannot do in England, Canada, Spain etc? If you're a pretty standard human, lifestyle wise, what good is the freedom? How many of us even use it?
Just a question that needs asking I think.

The U.S isn't any more free than many countries. It's just a country that loves to give the impression of superiority at all times. When it's not about how free they are, it's about what a brilliant military they have. Looking at the number of suspected rigged elections, it doesn't seem that free to me.

What about it?DRC is not running the world, or meddling in other people's business. It is not, on a global scale as important as America.
DRC does not affect many places around the world the way America does, hence noone cares enough to hate it.
Many of us care (to various degrees) about America because it affects most of us.
the response was to corruption, and there is no argument that could show America as more corrupt than the DRC
but honestly, if you really think America is the worst for those reasons, worse than nations that kill their own people for nonsense reasons, worse than nations that DO have expressed expansionist ideology, worse than nations that support violence against soft civilian targets, then so be it. Clearly we have much MUCH different moral axioms.
I like you avatar though, it brings me back to those ol' ravin days

How many of us use freedom? Was that one of your questions? Or did I interpret it incorrectly?
Yeah, I gotta wonder what that was supposed to mean?
AC, did you mean the right to assemble, or protest or bear arms? Or even to vote! That's a freedom too many Americans don't utilize.

The point is though that what the US does may not be as wrong as what does country's do, but they do it on a far larger scale, affecting more people in the progress.
Somebody executing everybody he has ever seen is really evil, but if that's only 20 people then he still wouldn't be compared to Hitler who killed millions but didn't kill everybody he saw.
Hitler would have killed less people % wise, but still be far more evil according to most.

I guess I would not be considered in most. The numbers to me don't make much difference, I look at motive. Hitler was evil to me because of what he believed (and I guess because he acted on it).
If thats how you feel then thats how you feel. My point was corruption, I stand by the fact that the Democratic Republic of Congo is more corrupt than America, but I wont presume to tell you which to think is worse (though I kinda get a kick out of the double standard😉).

Oh I don't actually think the US is the worst country in the world. I can however understand why a lot of people would think that. It's the most powerful so it has the biggest impact and most people are affected by it. A bad decision by them counts far more then a bad decision by another country.
And the US definitely isn't the most corrupted country, although the first election of Bush especially in a country that has democracy and freedom as such important things is just weird.

So then will you answer the question?-AC
To address Rouge Jedi's question, my least favorite nation is none of the above. I don't know everything about all of them...even my own. Unlike most people in the world, I wouldn't presume to assume that an entire nation is bad based on things I pretend to know. Neither do I have a favorite nation.

me or DK?
Obviously you, the main guy I replied to when asking the question.
You said "Freedom." is the only reason, or main reason, you love living in the country. Why? What freedom do you have that people in England, Spain, Canada etc do not have? What can you do that I cannot?
