Watchmen (Alan Moore)

When I arrived I remember AC and Digimark doing it, noboy else off of the top of my head.

I couldn't resist. Just this one time. 😛

You've never seen people do it on other forums? I always thought it was pretentious, especially when the post is about something silly like which drummer is better than the drummer from Cannibal Corpse or which are better, poptarts or toaster strudels. That wasn't a reference to anyone in particular.

Completely agree, I feel it's very pretentious. Which is why I do it when around "AC" just to take the mick ✅

Battlehammer, get off my nuts. Seriously. You're chaffing them.

I know you love me and everything, but stop.

I did it first.

As for it being pretentious, it's not. I don't do it to be pretentious, I just DO. You're making it a bigger deal than it needs to be, Will.

-AC

I'm trying to do the opposite than make a big deal, I'm doing it for cheap laughs, but if it's really annoying you, you just have to say and I'll stop ✅

Everyone has a style.

Battlehammer has a rival. 🙂

I really enjoyed both the book and the film, although the book is better, the film was good, and didn't diverge enough to become something completely unrecognisable from the original source.

Still, although the book is very, very good, it's not my favourite comic, nor my favourite of Moore's work.

Just my two cents...

What's your favourite? 🙂

V for Vendetta is probably the favourite complete comic series that I've read, but what I've read of Sandman I really enjoyed, and I'm trying to pick up the rest of Sandman...

In terms of more modern 'traditional' comics, JMS's Thor run is something I've really enjoyed, and Sinestro Corps War and Annihilation (the first one) are two of my favourite event storylines...

How about you?

I'd probably rate both Y: The Last Man and Fables above, personally.

Well Watchmen is my favourite work by Alan Moore, but it's nowhere near my favourite comic.

Mark Millar's 26 issue run on Ultimates was my personal favourite. I also loved the first Secret Six mini (Villains United) and The first Marvel Secret Wars.

I think the Sinestro Corps War was brilliant. I also like X-men Morlock Massacre.

I also have a soft spot for Brubaker's run on Cap.

Y: The Last man was awesome. I prefer it to Watchmen.

Y:The Last man is godly,as is Fables.

But NOTHING tops Jack of Fables.
