Why? I'm sure Jacen has greater force mastery and use them to his own advantage. Jacen is rather uber on his own, let alone in comparison.

Assuming Jacen has all his skills here. He will have some trouble. I think he survive this and get thru.

Really. Even after ten hours of recooperative rest, squaring off against Ulic and Traya - and even assuming he does win - then DE Luke and Palpatine? Ridiculous. Jacen is certainly one of the most powerful Force users (a veritable gold mine of Force knowledge, too - Lumyia believes that his knowledge is broader than Emperor Palpatine's), but he can't fight off these skilled duelists without any rest. He dies at 6.

I think he has a good chance of beating Mace, but he gets no rest after that and has to go right into a fight with Dooku and Vader. He'll be tired going into the fight. I honestly see him losing there or getting raped at five.

I don't really agree with Lumiya's assessment of Jacen's skills vs. Palpatine's. He has a different variety and maybe MORE skills in terms of variety, but he is NOWHERE near Sidious in overall force knowledge.

I agree. Lumiya is a dumbass who just loves to make Jacen feel better about himself. Jacen having more knowledge than Palpatine is utterly ridiculous.

That's a blatant contradiction. Jacen is "second only to Luke", so he can beat Luke? What the hell kind've logic is that? If Jacen is second only to someone - that means he is weaker than the guy ahead of him (in this case Luke) - meaning that he's not going to win.

Jacen can also beat Sidious.

That's completely different: Jacen was stated to be second to Luke in terms of power - not status. Meaning he is weaker than Luke. Sith apprentices who defeat their master prove to be stronger or lucky, but in this case, neither apply.

Vader killed RotJ Sidious - and he didn't do it in a duel. Furthermore, he died in the attempt. And Luke didn't kill Sidious either. Luke, Leia, and their unborn child's combined Force power stopped Sidious, and technically he ended up "conquering himself".

That's irrelevent. He is. The series has explicitly stated that Jacen has not yet grown to equal Luke in power.
