Yeah, I understand that, the same 3 guys work at my local Gamestop year round and from October - January, there is one other guy I see working there sometimes.

We have 6 people working year-round at the moment (myself and 5 guys), and during the holidays we had two other people. Originally there was two MORE people hired but one quit and the other got fired for not turning up for a week and screwing the rest of us over.

That must have sucked having to work that person's hours.

Wouldn't it be so funny if I flew out to Illinois tonight and went to that game store and went in and you were working and I said, "Gimmie a free game or I'll spam the Sig forum."

Would you sound the alarm and call the cops for attempted robbery, etc?

I would say your best bet for getting a job there would be to apply in early September, as that's when they start hiring for the holidays. I applied I think the week of Labor Day, and they put up the hiring signs the next day 😛

I may be getting hired at our local grocery store as a stockboy/bagboy but I may apply to Gamestop for the holidays to get some extra money. 😛
