But if he did that just to destroy those two, he would have lost a bunch of his troopers and lost his shield and his ships would have been distracted which would allow the Rebels to take good shots on them. And I don't think he knew that they were there. As far as Vader knew, Han Solo was still frozen and still with Jabba.

NO NO NO you see the Shield Generator was a far off i ment to destroy the ewok village and the area the rebels were in outside the bunker star destroyer's are accurate in that fashion.....and get the troops out of there is all i can say
