Have you ever tried lifting a hundred pound fish with your fishing rod? try it, or even put 100 pounds of weight in the water, tie it to your rod and try. Bet you can't lift it. Now go bench 100 pounds, come back and tell me which is easier. 🙂

Try dead lifting a hundred pounds of weight with a fishing pole. When you fail, try benching, power cleaning, squatting, or hang cleaning that same weight. When your finished come back and tell me which is easier.

Still, if you fish a 20lb fish out of the water, it takes considerably more effort than picking it up off of dry land...mostly because the fish is swimming and trying to get away from you.
