It wasn't a threat, I actually ignored you last time until you PM'ed me. I'm not ignoring you now, I'm just not gonna bother debating you anymore. It's not because I dislike you or have anything against you since I don't even know you. I'm just not going to bother becuse it's not in my best intrest, no offense. You seem to take gameplay for absolute face value and I do not. We obviously disagree on how to debate,so, why bother?I'm not going to be so pompous to ask you to change your debating pattern. So, I will simply not oblidge you. Like I said have nice summer or winter. . . 🙂
Because it's interesting... but yeah, we do seem to debate differently... However, that shouldn't stop us from debating absolutely should it...? 😕

Right, Right, Gouki teleports whatever you say, mane. 🙂
i know it's not the same as Bison's 'port, but Gouki does become intangible, and moves through things, so I dunno what else it could be...
Plus, I know the difference bitween an actual move, and a gameplay mechanic, after all, the Shoryuken's invincibility is a gameplay mechanic, but the entire Ashura Senku being invulnerable, and serving no other purpose other than to Move akuma to another location is something else to me...
Anyways, take it easy, I'm not trying to pressure you, but I do try to see things from other points of view, including yours... I cannot tell if your doing the same... 😮
DarkStorm, have you ever considered that the Asura Senku is the way it is because it's on a 2-D plane? I remember in Street Fighter EX that Asura Senku was a quick evasive movement by Gouki. He pretty much went out of range and the opponent could not touch him because he was constantly in motion and he incircled them. Despite the fact that EX movesets were created by CapCom, it's still not canon game. If I were to debate I would use the EX version because it breaks down the move in a sensicle way. Like C-master said when I first posted here, "We should use different media to assess the characters properly.
I'm not advocating the use of anything non-canon, but something like Ryu aiming upwards to perform a hadou not being admissable is ridiculous IMO.
Moves do not always operate the way they are intended due to game restriction.

However, even in EX, Akuma cannot out of the move, you could say it's like Garuda's teleport, or better yet, use E.Ryu's from EX3, he becomes transparent...
I'm not closed to using outside media, but I don't like stepping outside the boundriesof Canon, because then anything ever used in any media becomes usable in a debate, and that, for me chews through the original point of having the debate in the first place.
The way I see it, if the OP dicttates that we are allowed to use non-canon material, then all's fair, but if the OP doesn't say it, then I firmly beleive that it should be rooted into the rules of canon continuity.
Garuda's teleport moves in a linear path, and goes straight through the character. Gouki's in circles them quickly and keeps him from being hit.

He's clearly evading, but his frame becomes invinsible during said move.
Same with Evil Ryu, It's like when hayabusa becomes invinsible during his roll.
But, I digress, this thread is off-topic so I won't be responding back DZ.
Let's just simply disagree and leave it at that.
I can't beleive I was draged out in this thread simply becuase I said it isn't likely that Gouki uses a boat or swims to get across the water. It's cool for Rose to walk on water but a guy who sinks islands just can't glide like the ninjas do. I mean both Ryu and Gouki were seen fighting over water at the end of the SF Alpha movie and the 2 pillars they jumped off of exploded so were they gonna fight, under water?
Like it's just too fanboyish to think Gouki can't just Asura Senku across the water.
Originally posted by Triple SixYeah, I must agree, the comments made on that matter were a bit unnecessary. Akuma being capable of Asura Senku across water MAY BE possible and it really isn't overration, I can see were you were coming from. I wanna know my self, how is Akuma overrated?Like it's just too fanboyish to think Gouki can't just Asura Senku across the water.
Also, Akuma puts Geese six feet deep.
that is THE thing what i totally hate about SNK!!
i said it here on this forum, ONE OF MY FIRST F*cking DAYS HERE. and i was complaining about what i didn't like about SNK. And what i liked about Capcom. but nobody agreed with me back then!!!
Capcom would NEVER do such gay things like SNK or Gaymore!!

Thats according to Sado Mane. You know what, I have to change my mind about The new main heroe's seeming more superior to the older one's. For one thing K' never beat or took out Kyo neither has K 9999.
