Goob's Tourney- Match 4

Ok, listen up ladies and germs! Are you guys ready?

That is, ready for...

Blair Wind vs. King Kandy!!!

Contestants, and their character amalgams are as follows:

Location- Atlantas, the contenders will each have nanotechnology injected into their blood stream that allows them to be able to function underwater. They will be approximately 1 mile apart.

Prep Time

Tony, utilizing Spots teleportation, creates a spot and ends up at his armory (he himself has not moved, just his upper torso and arms as Darth specified I could). He grabs his adamantium probe rail gun, a few magnogravetric field generators, and gets some extra Psi Scramblers just to split the defensive workload against Emma (he already has some anti Psi stuff in his standard watch and his armor). He then places a assortment of gadgets in an easily accessible place in his armory should he need to use them in the coming match.

He then goes on back to the Atlantis to create strategically placed spots and stretches them to be able to hide behind any one if necessary, or to come back to a better defensive position

Step by Step Battle Plan:

Defense:
Tony's Psi Defenses are top of the line. Emma won't be able to do anything to me, period. Why you ask? Check out all these psi blocking references [1]

Seeing as Onslaught, and an amped Mentallo>>>>anything she can do I am positive she cannot get to me mentally.

If War Machine happens to get too close for comfort, even though I could probably take it to him mano a mano the long range strategy works best for me, so I teleport him through spot manipulation back to where ever I want him

I also keep myself adaptable at all times. I have full spectrum scans going on, keeping a radar lock on where War Machine is at all times. If a snag comes up in my plan, I simply adapt and overcome.

Offensive:

Going into offensive mode once the match starts, and being only 1 mile out from Rhodes, I begin to use my knowledge of him to good use. Tony starts provoking, saying personal things just to get him angry as Rhodes is known to let his anger get the best of him. Best guess is once he fails with TP, he starts shooting his arsenal of missiles, cannons, and photon beams. The moment that happens, Tony creates a huge spot in the way [2] and then redirects the attack with another spot to happen directly behind War Machine. War Machine, as Tony well knows is vulnerable to attacks from behind because they damage his weapons backpack [3]. If he decides not to attack with missiles, which with no other long range options would be foolish, Tony repulsers and pulse bolts the same area through the use of spots. He will not be able to dodge as his scanners will detect nothing from the teleportation. Not even Spiderman's spider sense could warn him of the attacks [4]

As he is reeling from his own attack (or Tony's), Tony quickly charges up an EMP and lets it off. Now, War Machine, unlike Tony, never created an EMP defense (or ever his own armor for that matter). He can give one off, but it takes his systems off for 6 minutes if he does or if someone else does. Here is a scan showing WM's lack of EMP protection with the greatest upgraded version of the armor Stark built him [5] (since he chose Rhodes War Machine *according to him*, and US WM is non canon. Any and all upgrades for the Grey/White War Machine where then available to him. This was the greatest one that Rhodes piloted). Tony is shielded from EMP's and can give them off easily [6], whereas WM never got protection (since he never created his own armor and Tony never upgraded it past that same armor)

With six minutes of total armor failure for War Machine, Tony quickly creates 5 strategic spots around his head and appendages. It will look like this only add an extra spot around his head [7]. The spots can act like a type of handcuff, but to add to his discomfort I create portals so that his left leg is to the right, right leg is to the left, right arm above his body, left arm below his body, and his head is upside down. All extra parts of his body will be 20 ft from his body, and his head will be facing away from all other parts so he cannot see anything but ocean water.

While this was happening, Tony tells the armor to bring the temperature to absolute zero[8] and freezes Rhodes appendages and torso using the water to my advantage. Since the armor is off-line, the thermostat will do nothing for protection and according to Wikipedia: "The Abomination can also go into a state of suspended animation if in a climate lacking air or heat." Just a thought.

Rhodes now has no idea of what the heck is going on, and with almost all his body frozen, Tony quickly lets go with his adamantium tipped missile/probe, and magnetically pushes it to make it go even faster [9]. With sufficient speed, Tony then creates a spot to teleport the missile with its velocity in front of War Machine's head. Seeing as it went right through Ultimo, and being that it is adamantium, it should go right through his head for a fatal head shot. Even if Rhodes turns into diamond seeing as Emma's diamond "flaw" is in her forehead and Adamantium>>>diamond hard.

Seeing as he is now dead, and being that I want to be thorough, Tony slaps the magnogravetric field generators on his body, and throws him to space. [10]

Wheres that Mortal Kombat voice saying Fatality when you need it? 😈

Recap:

Tony used prep to get himself some gadgets, and place strategically placed spots in case there is a snag in the overall plan. If any attack came unexpectedly, he could hide behind the spots, go through them to a better defensive position, or just let the ones on his body do the defense.

Tony redirects or personally attacks War Machine through Spot manipulations

Tony lets off an EMP which results in WM's armor to be completely shut off.

Tony then creates havok on WM's sense of being by placing his body in a spotted disassembled mess. The mess is then frozen

Tony then cracks WM's head wide open with an adamantium missile, then sends his lifeless body to space.

Abom's strength plays no role in this match as I dictate the terms thanks to my spots. He gets too close, he gets teleported back. Emma's telepathy also plays no role thanks to my Psi defenses.

Conclusion
There can only be one victor in this match. Sun Tzu says, "Hence the skillful fighter puts himself into a position which makes defeat impossible, and does not miss the moment for defeating the enemy." My spots and defenses give me this edge. Sun Tzu also says, "Therefore the clever combatant imposes his will on the enemy, but does not allow the enemy's will to be imposed on him." With my tactics, WM cannot possibly dictate the terms of this match up.

I have more quotes that would be applicable, but I think you get the message. In the end only one logical victor can come from this battle.

Okay, This is King Kandy, and I am arguing for the Amalgam Ninja Curtis, which consists of:

Mind: Jim Rhodes
Body: Abomination
Powers: Emma Frost

Specification on War Machine AKA James Rhode: Contrary to what you may have guessed, I am not using the traditional War Machine Armor. I am using the Eidolon War-Wear.

With that in mind, my Prep is as follows.

Prep:

The instant the Prep starts, I will be in Diamond Form via Emma Frosts powers. This will give me increased endurance and strength, as well as making me virtually immune to TP. Then I will split off several War-Wear Drones:

I will have about five of these, and they will come in handy later on. In the mean time they will be hiding. Also, two of these will be the Data-Thief variety as seen above. The other three or so will be of this variety:

As you can see, they have enough firepower to easily stagger Iron-Man. My own personal power is even greater:

Enough power to break Iron-Man’s armor. My speed is nothing to laugh at either, War-Wear can conjure up escape velocity speeds (Around three miles per second.) with relative ease. So anyway, War-Wear can also change forms to a certain degree, as shown here:

I will have it change in such a way that it can function perfectly well under water (It’s 100% adaptable to many different environments). Then I will hide and wait.

The Battle:

When the fight starts, I will wait until The Hellfire King comes out of a spot, or approaches (Either way works.) Then I will immediately dispatch a combat drone two attack him from behind. He won’t expect or track it. So, he’ll get hit and staggered, and then will try to counter attack… Nice idea, but my drone will be out of the area already.

However, he may get spooked and disappear into a spot. It won’t save him however, because a tiny Data-Thief Drone will have attached itself to him. It will steal all his armors info and beam it to me, and then will remain stuck to him, unnoticeable. However, I will now know his location because it will be tracking him. So even if he’s in his little Spot-World, I will know where he is, and where he will be appearing. And will be nowhere close to there.

My drones however (The attack type) will be wherever he is. And the instant he comes out of his hiding place, he will be assaulted from all sides by drones with the ability to bludgeon around Hellfire King. If he retreats into a Spot, the drones will follow him there, and continue the assault.

If an attack drone is destroyed, I make a new one. If as Spy-drone is destroyed, The second one will attach itself, only this time it’s even less likely to be noticed (Since he’s being knocked by a barrage every second.) Rinse, repeat, over and over again until he’s completely dazed and battered. Then I will do one of two things, depending on how much he’s got left in him.

A. I will grow a blade like the one in this scan:

And run in and shave the armor right off him. Remember, that blade can cut other war-wears.

B. If personal risk isn’t my forte (Though in a moment I will show there’s no real risk), I will make a drone which will grow said blade, and IT will shave the armor right off him. Same result.

So anyway, his armor will be shaved of, and then he will be mauled.

If because of some miracle, he manages to survive all of this and actually land a hit on me, I have nothing to fear. Why? Because in addition to having the endurance of Abomination, War-Wear, and a diamond Emma Frost… I also have healing as a result of the War-Wear:

So the War-Wear will heal both me and itself. I’d imagine the Drones have similar capabilities. So I have killer endurance and a Healing Factor. Wait; hold on one second, Abomination ALREADY has a healing factor! So I have double healing factors. Blair literally has no way to hurt me. But I have every way to hurt him.

In Conclusion:

By the end of the fight, I possess:

Double Healing Factors.

Super Endurance. (All three of my characters contribute a great amount of endurance)

Super Strength. (Same as with Endurance)

Incredible Fire-Power.

Multiple Drones with comparable Fire-Power.

Complete tracking abilities. (I will know where he is at all times. He doesn’t have comparable capabilities.)

Cap Speed.

Adaptive abilities.

So yeah, Blair’s ****ed. Ninja Curtis FTW.

Okay, so a good half of Blairs prep was detroyed because he didn't guess i'd be using warwear, so none of his stuff about destroying my backpack is valid.

Also, he think's i'll be one Mile away from him. This is true at the beginning of Prep, but by the end of it I will be far away from him... Pretty much the whole Atlantis away. He won't be taunting me.

Also, he spent so much time explaining how my TP won't work. The only problem is... I'm not using any TP for this match. If I do, then i'll do it after his armor has been shaved of near the end of the fight.

I won't be taking the offensive, and I won't let him taunt me... he won't know where I am, either. However, whenever he finds me and chases me, I get the hell out of there, and he gets blasted by some drones. And he won't take me by surprise, either, since my Data-Spy will see him at all times, and thus I will know where he is at all times.

EMP defense... Do you really think an incredibly powerful alien civilization will have no EMP defense? Stark knows nothing of Eidilon, but I know all about him. And with my Data-Spy I'll know about all the extra equiptment he's carrying... So I'll adapt to be Surge resistant (If I'm not already.)

By the way, my drones will be scouting the field for him...

Freezing me won't work either; Eidilon is perfectly capable of fighting in space. I just mioght be faster then him as well, so he's not getting the jump on me. And his missile won't work either. I'll know where he is, what he's carrying, and he's being constantly bombarded.

If he destroys a drone, I'll make a new one. So anyway, I win. 😄

Well seems to me by far there tragedies both seem well interpreted and planned. I will have to review both cases once more before posting my decision.Until then Good luck to you both.

To say the least I am surprised you used the War Wear armor. Tactically, you will soon find out that it was in fact a mistake.

Lets start by going over what I did and how I impose my will of the match on you. I said from the start, I would stay adaptable, and that is what I am going to do. Your war wear presented a slight snag with great benefits....for me. Let me make this clear to start off with: if you try to run away, I create a spot portal and have you back at a respectable distance to me. So no, you wont be running away like a dog with his tail tucked in. Also, since the beginning I have had you on my scanners, and any drones will be showing up on them. Let us then move on to my countermeasures

Counter Measures:
You created your independent drones to attack and spy on me, and against most adversary's that would have been a decent plan. Against my line up it was foolish, and will cost you the match.

Concerning your data thieves, if ALIEN nanites so small that they could enter a normal persons body through the pores on their skin, cannot enter the suit, and Tony KNOWS they are there, what hope do you think your data thief has? [1] Answer? None, but getting destroyed when I activate my proximity grid and fry it [2]

On to your attacking drones, you must have forgotten that I am covered in spot portals [3], and Ironman nowadays has energy absorbers all over his suit [4] (consider that the armor from the Crossing arc is extremely inferior compared to all the newer models in terms of well....everything.) So what doesn't hit me I can redirect towards either your drones or your person, and what does hit me makes me stronger and incredibly more powerful.

These simple counter measures lead to an incredibly efficient offense.

Offensive:

Now then, any energy that gets sucked into my body spot portals hits your person and the firing drones, and has you reeling from your own attacks. Moreso than usual incidentally because every time any drone of yours gets destroyed its like a part of your war wear AND you were killed [5]. You have such an empathetic link to them that anytime any of your drones is destroyed you feel their pain, and WM has in fact gone unconscious from just one drone being destroyed [6]

With Aboms and Emma's added durability (which is an added redundancy and works against each other. Emma's turns the WHOLE body into a diamond, therefore negating Aboms durability effect) unable to protect your drones, they are all going to get destroyed and YOU will feel their pain.

Also any attack that I myself put on your person, or any redirected attack on your person will hurt the war wear armor since a simple repulser has torn it before [7], and I can just have my tactical computer take over for perfect accuracy, and battle tactic suggestions in case I need to adapt again [8]

With you literally reeling from your own attacks (and if I get bored enough, mine), I continue as planned with my offense.

I get you spottcuffed (my new word for this [9] ). Remember your sense of direction will be horrendously thrown off. Absolute zero is still absolute zero. Your statement that absolute zero will have no effect on you is absurd. Space has a temperature difference of three degrees, which compared to absolute zero is a significant difference, as molecules actually stop moving at that temp.

With you spotcuffed, frozen, and hell maybe even knocked out from your drones being destroyed, the final piece to this chess game is set in place. I let off with the adamantium missile [10] directly into your head. Your war wear cant handle that, abom cannot handle that, and even emma's diamond form cannot handle that (even more so because I was aiming for a headshot, the shot is lucky in that her diamond flaw is in her forehead).

Then I just slap the gravity cancellers on you and watch you head for orbit 🙂

Recap:
Essentially you said that you would send your drones out to find me, and you would run away like a scared kid. You gave me a way to hurt you without you actually being there. You see Rhodes has a empathetic link with his drones and when one is hurt he actually gets hurt. Hell he can go unconscious just by destroying one.

However, that was just the beginning. Almost my whole strategy is still left intact. In fact the ONLY part I took out was the EMP and its debatable whether it would have worked or not. I proved I have defenses against your TP if you choose to use it, Ive proved that I can hit you from behind, that I can redirect any of your attacks, and thats all I need really.

Your assumption of what his morphing ability entails is staggering since it was only used in one panel. I do however know that the war wear cannot take a repulser to the gut, and I control where I want you to be through spot manipulations. You go too far, I teleport you back. You come to close, I teleport you back. You cannot do anything without my say so. How are you doing to stop my successive system? I drop your drones, hurt you in the process, and continue as planned.

Good thing we have that all cleared. Back on to the original point, I destroy your drones after having them come up in my scans, in the process you get hurt, and then have my original plan go into affect (spotcuffing you, freezing you with absolute zero, and spiking you through your head.) Your warwear changes nothing, and in fact it might make things easier for me to win.

Conclusion?
I win, and I don't even have to attack YOU do it. I just start off with the drones, and end your life when your in so much pain you get knocked out. 😈 You cannot control where you go, and I have the advantage in firepower, as I can redirect your own fire. Your simply outclassed in terms of versatility, maneuverability, and tech. You brought a good game Kandy....

A. I don't think it's destruction backlash will pass from the spot realm to my world.
B. My character has a much higher tolerance for pain then Rhodes did.
C. A psychic backlash will land on... Oh yeah, the guy who's immune to psychics.

The Big Problem with Blair's Prep:
But he won't have any of his stuff from his ware house for two reasons.

Reason one is that the Spot has NEVER shown to be able to travel that far. Ever. You're having him go somewhere that's so far away he won't have reliable effects.

Reason two is even more pressing. I'll give you a hint. One side of his spot is in the warehouse, the other sides in the middle of the ocean... And it's the size of a human.

The warehouse is going to get wet. It'll be filled with water, so even if he gets there, he'll have a tough time:

A. Manuevering.
B. Finding everything.
C. Finding things that aren't short circuited.

So your gonna make this more interesting than last time. Props at least for that. Now its time to debate 🙂

Counter points:

Only one problem... Spot can't create Spots anywhere he wants. he throws them, as we see in the following scan.

Your underwater effectivity isn't that high... Unlike me, you haven't adapted to a water form.

Show me a "Redirection, so to speak...

Won't work, for three reasons.

So thrown spots are dumb, but created spots that work as cuffes (like they did to Spiderman wouldnt help you much now would they). Plus your body is in a distorted mess, so you wouldnt know which way to pull even if you could 😬

And what, while I'm being subjected to this for like 0.00001 of a second... The temperature will immediatly rise, and since my character handles cold easily, I'll be back on my feat.

Reason one is that the Spot has NEVER shown to be able to travel that far. Ever. You're having him go somewhere that's so far away he won't have reliable effects.

What do you know about Spot's traveling distances? 😕
He has created a portal for someone to go from New York to Switzerland, and he can travel inter-dimensional space. [4] Hell he was one of two parts that lead to the negative zone in a FF comic

Reason two is even more pressing. I'll give you a hint. One side of his spot is in the warehouse, the other sides in the middle of the ocean... And it's the size of a human.

Lets recheck things:

Your offensive has yet to be able to hurt me, I have two ways of absorbing your offensive. Energy absorbers and spots.

Your drones send pain back at you when I destroy them.

My targeting systems can fire at your WM armor while my armor itself deals with the energy firing (absorbing or spot defense)

All the while, I am controlling the fight, the flow of everything, and any attack you give off I redirect to you or absorb for myself.

So back on topic

Let us realize that my team has one of the best defenses in the game with my spots. You actually hitting my armor with your bolts does NOTHING but powering me up (showing an extremely old armor fairing against it is nothing compared to the new ones).

Your drones are not doing ANYTHING productive. I can just let you hit my armor and spots. I can destroy your drones with my own armor, my repulser blasts, pulse bolts (that hit harder the farther they go), and uni beam will put a hurting on anything you can do. My tactics follow in tight precision while yours are sloppy and can get you in a ton of trouble. You have no REAL way of hurting me. You may have fancy remote drones, but its not gonna be enough to take down a man covered in inter-dimensional spots, and energy absorbing armor.

Hell I will even one up you. Lets PRETEND that your energy blasts do anything BUT get absorbed. Say they bust through my armor. I have Shaw as my body dude. Lets take a look at what that means as Shaw absorbs kinetic energy. Anything hits him, be it energy or physical force and he gets more powerful.[5] So your saying what? Your gonna beat me down and get me tired with a barrage of drone energy? Also, with a knife? With Shaws power the thrusting motion of a knife or sword gets taken away so all I would have would be a slight scratch if you got past my armor and spots. Man you cant get past my armor, my spots, OR my physical body. Me on the other hand? I can take it to you in any way shape or form, and hell I can even use your own stuff against you.

My strategy is a full fledged plan with room for adaptability. What your offering is a simple ambush that puts you at a liability. Past the drones you have nothing to offer to the fight, and with the drones I can hurt you. Past that, your strategy does nothing but give you a retreat, but I can locate you, teleport towards you, teleport you towards me, and take you out in a variety of ways. Hell wanna hear a pretty cool one I can only do here? I can download a signal from a satellite and broadcast the distress call of a baby sperm whale. Wanna know how it feels to be Jonah? [6] 😂 (this of course would just be ANOTHER option in my top 10 ways of taking you out 😉 )

Another Flaw With Blairs Plan

Your prep involves you putting your arms, legs, and other body parts through spots, and attacking from all over the field.

So I can fly behind you (Cap Speeds) and just... Tip you over, and the spots will severe all your limbs off.

Back to explaining my offense and defense:

DEFENSE:

My armor can absorb energy so if Fin Fan Foom, Sunspot, the third rail of a rail track, hell if a lightning bolt from Thor cant do it what makes you think you can overpower me?? Its just gonna power me up.

Then I have spots. I dont even need to control those, you just hit me, and they absorb them. If I CHOOSE to I can have them redirect your beams to you. But Ill just focus on destroying your drones regularly with target lock on my onboard computer. That way I can focus on you personally with my spots.

I also have my strategically placed spots, that your drones could fly into effectively leaving them in the spotted dimension as they would have no idea where to go from there. If I choose to do evasive maneuvers this would most likely happen to them

If, for those who choose to believe it can happen, my armor gets breached by your drones, shaw can be powered up by energy. Nothing you do HURTS me but in fact HELPS me.

Ok, so I have my strategic spots, I have spots on my body, and my armor can absorb energy. If push comes to shove, I also have shaws kinetic absorbing power.

You send your drones to hit me and well the energy will just get sucked in either way. I can repulser blast or pulse bolt them to death if I want to. Hell I can ignore them since most of the energy will be put to the spotted dimension *if I choose not to redirect them at you personally* or sucked into my armor making me more powerful. I dont think your getting that concept.

OFFENSIVE:

My plan though is to hit them, while they are ineffectively hitting me. Then I go after your cowardly running away Ninja Curtis. Your plan is based on one hope, while I can adapt for any situation. Hell what are you going to do with the huge sperm whales I can bring your way?

My plan is tactically sound, and executed with precision. Your attack drones are nothing but annoying flies, and past that you have no real strategy. Your assuming that your ONE attack will take me out. It does nothing of the sort. You on the other hand? Spotcuffs ftw 😈

Besides I really doubt you can take a adamantium missile to the head...that would be your brain splattered all over Nemo's body.

Flaws with Kandy's....everything

He assumes that his drones will take care of me, and he need not worry about me at all after that. That would be underestimating his opponent, and quite frankly will cost him the match. His drones are a liability to him and his health. It will hurt him, and thats all the opening I need.

After that, which I countered, what can he offer? What did he chose to bring to the match? Nothing at all. He cannot win a fight that he chooses not to fight in. A boxer cannot expect to win with only ONE hit in the first round. You need a strategy, and multiple attacks. Kandy brought only one to the table, and it was not good enough.

Lets also remember that he has no adequate defenses against my attacks. They can happen from any spot, or even just from me. His diamond body (which negates aboms durability since her WHOLE body turns to diamond) just so happens to have a flaw in her face which my adamantium missile luckily can exploit.

Also since Ironman can pull up avenger, and SHIELD files up from his armor he will know that Abomination goes into suspended animation when in an environment lacking air or heat. The absolute zero could potentially put you to sleep. Hell if I REALLY wanted to affect you, I could create a spot in the INSIDE of your armor (between armor and body) and freeze you that way which means your armor cannot help (or hit you with a adamantium tipped missile in the head 😖hifty: ) Your amalgam is not a match for my superior versatility and adaptability.

Everything that follows this is Blairs misguided assumption that I'm trying to one-shot him. I'm not. I'm trying to batter him, shave off his armor, then mangle him. Or mindrape him. It's a long process that involves constant attack.

However... It turns out I CAN mind attack him, because I can bypass his sheild and defenses through the vaunted scanners he's using to track me.

Your not understanding spots. Spots can be spot to spot travel, OR they can be spot to dimension to spot travel (evidence would be the million times a punch goes from one spot to the next, yet in the spotted dimension no two spots are that close.).

B) Ironman tech>>>> Sentinel tech
C) IF people want to believe that she can get through my scanners, I have my standard watch (Pre-Extremis actually has its perks for me 😂 ) which staved off Mentallos mind attack and it has no scanners. He had psi scramblers that worked against Onslaught. Sorry, but your NOT gonna be mind raping me anytime soon.

Back on topic:

I want to know what your going to do against the whales (eh I decided to throw them in their for the fun of it), the fact that I can easily create a spot between the armor and your face and send the ADAMANTIUM missile straight for a headshot, or the spotcuffs. Absolute zero you dont seem to comprehend so I wont bother asking.

Or how about the fact that I can teleport to your position after dealing with your limited (as they are independent AND constructed during the match *just as a GL would do* meaning you can only have 2 per match or at a time. Either works for me) drones through spot manipulation or rapid fire bursts.

So again for those who like organization and structure:

My Defenses:
-Spots
-Armor can absorb energy
(with just those two, I have an incredible defense)
-Shaw's kinetic absorbtion

My Offense:
-Redirected Spot attacks
-Spot cuffs

My strategy is more than adequate to take care of your attack.

I have counter measures to use against your team, versatility in spades, and defenses to spare. In they end, there can only be one winner, and logic would dictate that it is me.

Anyone else find that having the scans in a completely different part of the post to be annoying?

It means you have to scroll down to find whatever scan is being referred to, then scroll back up and having to find the sentence it fits with again.

Just personal preference but it may be better to post scans next to whatever they are being used to back up.

So... I have Working TP. No flaw.

I have an Emma that stays alive when she's shattered, and double layered healing factors (So you'll have a healuva time keeping me down.)

He, on the other hand, does NOT have Spots on 80% of his body, since he put so many of him on the battlefield. I can beat him to a pulp.
