You are right in saying Odin wasn't going all out. However, when Odin goes all out he destroys galaxies as a side effect and warps reality in such a way where watchers go blind etc. Odins attack was on the verge of destroying Asguard until he stopped. So Thanos surviving this attack relatively undamaged speaks volumes about his durability because even surviving a fight with odin using 1/4 of his power is still incredibly impressive, Odin has treated the surfer like more of a b*tch than Thanos has in the past. Also didn't Odin also use his weapon on Thanos as well? The fact that he thought it was necessary also says a lot, but I could be wrong on the weapon part. As for Thanos vs. Tyrant, are you 100% sure he had the ball the entire time or even that it was amping him up? My memory is sketchy but I saw scans and I could of sworn he drops it or does not have it in hand when Tyrant is beating him down. Tyrant, like Odin, has laid waist to entire galaxies as side effects to his battles with galactus. So even if Thanos was being amped and only part of that was his own power it still says a lot he survived.
Either way there is still things like taking the best silver surfer could dish out. There is not a chance SBP could sit there and take the best Silver Surfer has without even flinching.
so even though SBP is probably not as powerful compared to Odin or TYrant he is still freaking SUPERBOY PRIME remember all the feats he showed in Infinite Crisis... imo Thanos would not stand very long vs him
But again, what did SBP really do? His only WTF feat is busting out of the phantom zone. Other than that he:
1-Moved Planets
2-Killed B characters who weren't really that powerful, no name teen titans and their friends
3-Killed 30 rookie GL's***
The real problem is his powerset isn't as versatile as say..silver surfers. For instace in the past I've said Surfer can beat Sentry. Even though I believe Sentry has more raw power I still think Surfer could win because of his transmutation power. Sentry has never shown that he could resist this and given Surfer's speed, this should be a viable tactic. This is just one example of how someone can win even when their opponent has more raw power because they have a lot of options. Prime doesn't have many options. He can only really attack Thanos by punching and kicking him. He could try HV but he'll soon realize that it is useless. As I have pointed out, Thanos has flat out taken punches from people in the same strength class as Prime and been completely undamaged
***and the method he used is *very* questionable. I believe he used freeze breath then superspeed to shatter. My question is don't you think a GL ring could handle cold tempatures? I mean wouldn't their rings protect them from that seeing as they already protect them from the harshness of space and plenty of other attacks.
Honestly, PC Superman is more of a fight for Thanos than SBP, he is that powerful.

Well Che$ty, at least you didn't mention his embarrassing misadventure against Squirrel Girl. As for the 60's...well everyone was written poorly back then. If you recall Superboy from the same era you'd see him do things almost as ridiculous. Is super-overstatement of the obvious one of his powers ? I mean he is emotionally immature to the point of losing his mind the first moment that their plans fall through. You'd think that growing up in Smallville would have made him a little more mature. But living out the years in an extra-dimensional paradise prison dimension while watching the universe you helped save turn into a dark and twisted world, might have some serious detrimental effects on your mental health. Thanos is made of sterner stuff, and being the more experienced fighter combined with his essential genius would enable him to overcome raw physical power that Superboy Prime has. Personally, I love the idea of a homicidal teenage Superman as a Villain. But You have to go with the master here.

1. Nice, Che$t. You have some style and good amount of Common sense. Good to have a few more knowledgeable people on the forum.
2. I love how everyone thinks Thanos is going to pull a Hulk. Just running in a smashing whatever is in his path. Lol, the KMC rules dictate that each character get's some rudimentary knowledge of the other before the match begins. Needless to say he hits SPB with a red sun blast or just drains him clean of any energy he has.
