em no, since i dont have any online games (Phantasy Star Online the only online out) I see little use.

you CAN get a dial-up modem adaptor too though..but of course its not as comfortable to use as broadband ones i guess.

I dont know, I'll wait for some more games to come out using the modem before I consider getting one.

PS2 is way more advanced in that department.

Do you know that they are saying that the new Playstation will download entire games and store them on a huge hard drive, no need to go out and buy games. You will automatically buy and DL them the second they are released. Kewl😎

well they say alot, but the Playstation3 isnt out yet is it, by far, and neither is the next Nintendo or Microsoft console.

It would be good, but it would be pretty damn hard. Microsoft is better with computer stuff, so it would probably do pretty good with something like that.

why? its worked quite well on consoles too. I'm talking Phantasy Star Online for the cube, SOCOM for ps1, sports on the xbox, etc etc

Online games are the wave of the future for consoles.

Only children with no friends will no longer have to resort to playing by themselves 😉

you have to buy too much stuff for console online gaming, modem, monthly fees, and if you're going to do massively online games (final fantasy 11) you're going to need to buy hard drives and all that crap, when with pc online games its all built in. i prefer single player console games and online pc games.
