Why did Yoda go into exile?

Yoda is pretty smart. I think he already had considered the option, but knew that it would likely result in his demise, and Obi-Wan's as well. Given his dialogue about the future of the twins, then one must assume that he also knew that they would need training, protection, and guidance. If Obi-Wan and himself were dead, then who would give Luke all that wise Jedi talk?

Thus, the risk would be too great. Being a prudent, wise person, Yoda chose the cost/benefit option most suitable to his cause.

And he was so wise he chose... a swamp. Just top have a laugh for the next twenty years being Shrek's and Donkey's neighbour.

Said swamp had weird force-fu that kept the Emperor from finding him. Call me crazy, but 20 years of Eddie Murphy sounds preferable to being fried by Palpatine... well maybe not. Regardless, he chose Dagobah for a reason.

Where else would he go to escape the Emperor? They had to go into hiding. Everything worked out didn't it? The Emperor is dead and Luke became a Jedi. I really don't see why people are complaining about this considering that it worked out.
