I turned away from the church because there are actually people who live in medieval times, best example is right here talking to us (JIA, that is you)

So, your relationship with Jesus Christ is based on someone else's conduct? (That is ridiculous and it sounds like an excuse.) You don't believe that Buddhist have skeletons? What are you going to do once you find out their skeletons, convert to Islam? You should stop making excuses (in essence trying to justify your lifestyle), ask God to direct you to another pastor, and get back on track with Jesus.

😄

You don't believe that Buddhist have skeletons?
What?

What?

😕 That was really strange. There is nothing in my Buddhist beliefs about skeletons. I have no idea what you are talking about.

As far as my reasons to leave Christianity? I had many reason, and you (or people like you) were one of the biggest ones.

Yes you are but you are also denouncing the fact that I have already fulfilled your requirements which you have not done of any of mine. Also my friends that also played with me are still very religious and some are Christian, Mormon and Catholic and they are the ones that said that it worked.

The game has nothing to do with me not believing in God or any religion it is my life experiences and talking with people and using questions that has. Seeing how religion has affected life and history and not being able to answer questions and the corruption that I see in it every day and that they are supposed to be the “moral” backbone of our society is what has. I could give you 5 million reasons why I do not and you can only give me one, faith.

3 eyewitnesses and 1 eyewitness. They all said that it worked, but you said that it didn't work. In a court of law your testimony would not hold any weight.

Skeletons in the closet (it is an expression look it up).

Now you are trying to make me the scapegoat for your behavior just like you made your former pastor? You seem to shift blame conveniently to exonerate yourself and assuage your conscience.

Science is a higher standard then court. Please lets stay with the higher standard.

Did you not read my post? After they said that it worked I asked them to use a blindfold and they tried it again as the others watched and they all saw it for themselves so that is 4 to 0. I win. pitt_victory

Also if it worked then why are they still religious?

Religion and a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ are two entirely different things. Hence, they may be religious (the Pharisees and Sadduccess of Jesus day very religious yet Jesus condemned their ways) but they may not truly be born again and on their way to Heaven.

Oh. 😆 I see...

Well, let’s talk about some of the reasons.

Did you know that women cannot talk in the church, and they must always have their heads covered? They also, cannot have any position of authority in the church.

In my Buddhist group women not only can have positions of authority, they do.

Did you know that you could molest your two daughters and after spending 3 years in jail ask forgiveness and be right back in the church again?

Did you know that you could beat your wife, as long as no one talked about it, and still keep your position in the church?

Did you know that you could said drugs on the side and be a good Christian every Sunday?

If you did any of these things in my Buddhist group, they would tell you to leave and never return.

There are bad apples in every bunch, but what you have done is you have thrown out the baby (i.e. the Truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and salvation through Him alone) with the bath water.

Based on what you have told me I infer that you were going to the wrong church and you were submitted to the wrong pastor. There are admonitions and guidlines for how to treat Christians who live in and/or practice sin (including clergy). The denouement ends with that Christian ultimately being excommunicated until he/she sincerely repents and bear fruits worthy of repentance (i.e. have a life indicative of and that corresponds to the fact that they have repented).

So if you are not a born again Christian you are not going to heaven, I’m sure that they are going to be surprised.

No, I was in the one and only true church, or at least that is what everyone believed.

how can you tell him that your belief was better than his? He obviously believes in something, do you think you can simply take that away? You see why nobody who is Buddhist would want to be Christian? Buddhists would respect the other's opinion, not discriminate it for the sake of their own beliefs.

Jesus said that unless a person is born again he/she cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Anybody can be anything that they want nominally, but that doesn't put anything inside of the can so to speak. The Holy Spirit causes a person to become born again (i.e. a new creation spiritually) and thus capable of entering Heaven at death or during the Rapture.

So God will forgive anything that you do as long as you repent except for not believing in him?

Really? What happens when people get "born again" and then realize that its a bunch of BS and leave the church?

I didn't tell him that my belief was better than his--you did (well, you did).

This is absolutely about disapproving to his beliefs. I didn't tell him anything, or did you not hear about the subjunctive grammar form?

More incoherency.

What does,

"This is absolutely about disapproving to his beliefs...."

mean?

😕
