With all due respect siriuswriter what you have written sounds naive and ignorant. David Blaine and Chriss Angel are witches operating under the pretense of being magicians. They do literally levitate. You should do research outside of this site about levitation (it is a reality).
Well I agree with those boards having negative consequences as I heard some stories from people who I know personally and don't think they'd lie about that.
Anyway, about those flash game ouija boards being dangerous, I think that may be an exaggeration. How could such an act be simulated through a flash game? (like the actual summoning, not the "technical" part of the game). I guess it could work, if the person actually devoted themselves to it, but even then....

I have, JesusisAlive.
Have you ever seen an illusionist unveil their secrets i.e. show you what they do to make it look like they're levitating, etc? It's really quite interesting.
I had a short but passionate affair with illusionist magic when I was a younger teenager, and so I read things from the library and researched that sort of thing. When those tricks are deconstructed, they're much less incredible.
And definitely not "of the devil."
Unless you call pulling a rubber thumb over your own, and stuffing a scarf in it to "pull the scarf out of nowhere" "of the devil."
The things that people like the magicians you mentioned do are nothing but tricks like the "pull the scarf out of nowhere" trick, only on a much higher and grander scale. Sensible people always know that the "rubber thumb" is there, but there's a thing called "suspension of disbelief." We want to be fooled. We want to believe that, say, David Blaine is really levitating.
I think you just really want to believe that David Blaine (etc) is really levitating, so you can use it as evidence for your theory. I think you really truly believe it. And that's sort of sad for me. Because there's so clearly the "rubber thumb" in the magic trick. And you're missing it... and because you're missing it, you can tout this frantic religious message that is doing absolutely no good to anyone, at least here on these boards.
By the way, I do take some offense at being called naive and ignorant. I hope you can see why, at least after this post.
Oh, and by the way. Even if they were real magicians, they would be called warlocks, and not witches. "Witch" is feminine.

Pure misconception. All this should be an urban legend if at all.

Well, you are wrong for claiming that I want to believe that David Blaine is really levitating (the whole idea is ansinine). Why do you take offense? I did not call you personally naive or ignorant (re-read my post to you carefully).

He is lying? Would you call him a liar?
And allow me to turn your tables on the issue of blatantly disregarding the testimonies of members their personal experiences on the use of ouija boards.

Well, can you handle the Truth? What is so difficult about reading about someone's experience and then afterwards considering what you just read? Why does anything that contradicts your belief system or previous experience have to be so problematic?😄
Originally posted by JesusIsAliveYou have testimonies that contradict your position and you don' t know how to handle it.
You are trying to find an excuse to deny the fact the Ouija Boards do work irrespective of ideomotor effect. You have testimony that contradicts your position and you don't know how to handle it.😄

The point is that eyewitness testimony is either true or it is not but that you cannot necessarily disprove it like you try to do with the testimony of those who have encountered demons through Ouija Boards.
For example, Jeff Harshbarger conveys his personal testimony about using Ouija Boards and what he experienced and yet you have trouble believing him. His experience is undeniably genuine regardless, that is why the blindfold is irrelevant.

I meant as a more subconscious want. When I'm reading a book, I don't think to myself, "Well I want to be sucked into the world of this book, so I'm going to be." I just am. There's not that little step there.
Do you have anything to say to the rest of my post? Like about how illusionists have revealed their "levitating" secrets?
Well, you said that what I posted was naive and ignorant. What I posted reflected what I think. Therefore: you called me, personally, naive and ignorant. I believe I read it very closely indeed.

Good question Jim Reaper. No, you do not have to be a practicing satanist before God will intervene in your life. But God reaches out to all of us in a variety of ways, many of which are very subtle. God has reached out to you at some point through me, or many others but perhaps you are still not ready (as was Jeff Harshbarger) to stop playing games and get serious with God.😄
Harshbarger is weak, and I don't need anyone to reach out to me
