Many religions only approve of certain books on the understanding of different beliefs that are slanted with views of that religion...ie learning about Catholics from a Baptist point of view. Get the information from the opposing religions its self. Also read secular views on the religions. They are NOT evil as the churches would like you to think. This way one would have a broader, more truthful view of a belief and where it stemmed from.
