how do you grab?

I'm pretty sure that it's in the instruction manual.

Hmmm, have you checked the game menu, and the abilitys section.

i went into training and just messed around and figured it out. if you are standing still just tap X twice otherwise you can grab them after you've done a square square square combo just press X

I think that depends on the character

k so i've done everything in the game but allstar in survivor it's so freakin hard.

who did you guys use to beat this?

So whats the overall verdict on this game. I haven't picked it up yet, way too many good games out at the moment, but I will pick it up eventually. Besides the characters and whatnot, is it a definitive improvement over BT2?

I got it for Christmas, and have played past the Majin Buu saga so far in Dragon Story mode, so I must say, it's definitely an improvement from DBZ: BT2. ✅ The game intro is a lot cooler too (though my favorite DBZ game intro will probably always be Budokai 3's).

Also, I noticed that Super Perfect Cell is so much freakin' harder than in the previous games 😛, which is good, I guess. I even had a harder time with him than with Kid Buu, and he usually gives me the most trouble.

All the games look like crap with no big improvements.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 to me looks like one of the funnest action games made period.

Edit: If you meant visually, there weren't great changes since Budokai 2.

The statement that they look like crap is ridiculous. I know Budokai 3 (not Tenkaichi since I haven't played it) looks at least fair compared to other PS2 games.

I'm happy that Android 18 has that hot outfit in this game because she didn't have it in the previous game.

Also, I'm glad that Videl is playable with her ponytails.
