Storm's powers can indeed filter certain radiation (she can pick which wavelength she wants to come through). Sups has Less than favorable reactions to certain kinds of radiation. Therefore, Storm has a chance at beating Sups. She could also conceivable cut him off from his main source of power (while hey were on earth) by blocking out the type of radiation he uses to recharge. I have seen Sups struggle with weather before. (People act like its "just bad weather", but when all the bad weather is focused on YOU, i don't know, different story. Maybe?).

I don't understand how SM's "speed blitz"/ "FTL" movement/acrobatics/agility/reaction Allow him to "punch a hole in Storm's face before she can think/react".
While at the same time allowing ROUGE to touch him?
