Speed of thought as in the speed of telepathy or telekinesis? They are stated as being speed of light, thought and action as one etc. and must be quantum processes to occur across galaxies etc.

One feat may not be enough, but he did that to Xavier himself, and he did like it was nothing, mind blasting him.
Also a weakened Apocalypse punks Jean Grey psionically. In her own words, she was throwing everything at him, trying to chisle into his mind.
Xavier has far more telepathic feats, but that still doesn't change the fact that in toe-to-toe, he couldn't do anything, only to get punked.
I'll reiterate:
1) A single feat can basically amount to SvFL.
2) There's no conclusiveness as to whether it was even telepathy.
3) Xavier wasn't even rendered unconscious. It wasn't a "toe-to-toe" telepathic fight, it was one possibly telepathic sucker punch.

4) And? How exactly does that show superior telepathic power or skill to Xavier. Telepaths are not automatically immune to any and all forms telepathy. Telepaths do constantly screen out thoughts with their powers, but they do not constantly defend.

I've seen the Jean incident. It shows mental defenses, not actual telepathy. His on panel dialogue indicate as such.
So upon what basis exactly does one derive that Apocalypse is a better telepath in either power or skill? Unwarranted hype? 313
