Can any MUTANT beat Superman????

Started by Creshosk58 pages

Why is it that when a person says that Storm can't do something because she doesn't have the power to.. someone comes in and says something to the effects of "Its because she's black, isn't it?" or "Its because she's a woman isn't it?"

Besides shouldn't she potentially be disqualified from consideration on the basis of something that the storm fans have been pushing for?

If omega-level mutants were DQ'd and Storm is potentially an Omega level... does that mean she's potentially DQ'd?

Storm hasn't been confirmed as an Omega yet. Therefore, as far as I'm concerned, she's not one.

And it doesn't really matter if she's DQ'd from this thread or not; she doesn't have the power to even faze Superman.

Agreed. Superman himself has formed the biggest lightning Storm on Earth...and wasn't fazed by it in the least.

Shh.. I wanna see the storm fans argue to get her DQ and then also argue for her to beat Supes. You know "have your cake and eat it too" sort of thing that truly exposes their blind passion for a character.

How does the claim that she can become one with the Omniverse not expose their blind passion?

I must have missed that one.

It's somewhere in the Storm vs Magneto thread I think.

I made that satement.

It is my idea of a full potential Ororo.

My opinion and nothing more.

No wonder some of you all find it hard to grasp. You don't even think she can move atoms and electrons with her mind.

Why:

"because uhhhhh.....weather is meterology and uhhhhh.....she just can't do that"

Cool. At least you admitted it was your opinion.

Don't you think the omniverse is a touch too grand in scope? you do know what all that entails right?

Wait, who thinks that she can't move atoms and electrons with her mind?

Air =Oxygen, nitrogen etc=atoms
moving Air=wind
Electricity=electrons
Lightning=Electricity.

2damn is of the opinion that she moves every single atom and electron individually.

Yep, my opinion.

As Ororo sits quietly on the Mansion grounds relaxing, her perception alters to see not only this universe, but an endless array of universes as glittering patterns of energy. She gasp and cries "Goddess!", and her "Bright Lady" appears to her who's no more than doppelganger of Storm herself and we get a story that establishes a reason for such a power jump.

It can come from her magical background, "Bright Lady", or both since they both have a relation to each other.

No convolution at all.

Of course the above has nothing to do with the strictest guidlines of meterology so..... And Ororo's still black, too.

😎

You do fully understand the metaphysics of stirng theory don't you? If not you might not understand the overload danger in herent in such high level powers as multiversal abilities...

Do you fully understand the infinite beyond mere words?

Does it fit looser guidelines to fit with her mutant power which is what the omega level mutancy would be... or are we going off of a magic background which I can't see that justifying a multiversal let alone omniversal "oneness"...

Was that really needed? She's not defined by nor controlled by her race, so what's the importance of mentioning it like that?

Is her race(something that is planetary) more important than her supposed power which you want to be omniversal?

Well there is 2damn many to move individually and it'd take 2damn long to do it.

Imagine trying to splash a person by throwing each water molecule individually... Much easier to just grab a handful of water and chuck it.

Saying that she moves each one individually may sound cool and powerful... but its really actually lame and shows a lack of understanding of scope... mere hyperbole.

Which what with the omniversal opinion seems to be right up 2damnloud's alley. *shrugs*

Storm has the power to transecend her being, quantum theory or not.

Like Iceman who did not become one with even one universe, let alone all infinty of them.

It is spelled "stupid", not "sarcasm".

Storm's potential is perhaps far beyond Bobby

I've never said that.

Some people just claimed she didn't have that detailed of control over the elements.--atomic and sub-atomic.
