Yep, my opinion. As Ororo sits quietly on the Mansion grounds relaxing, her perception alters to see not only this universe, but an endless array of universes as glittering patterns of energy. She gasp and cries "Goddess!", and her "Bright Lady" appears to her who's no more than doppelganger of Storm herself and we get a story that establishes a reason for such a power jump.
It can come from her magical background, "Bright Lady", or both since they both have a relation to each other.
No convolution at all.
You do fully understand the metaphysics of stirng theory don't you? If not you might not understand the overload danger in herent in such high level powers as multiversal abilities...
Do you fully understand the infinite beyond mere words?

Of course the above has nothing to do with the strictest guidlines of meterology so.....
Does it fit looser guidelines to fit with her mutant power which is what the omega level mutancy would be... or are we going off of a magic background which I can't see that justifying a multiversal let alone omniversal "oneness"...

And Ororo's still black, too.😎
Was that really needed? She's not defined by nor controlled by her race, so what's the importance of mentioning it like that?
Is her race(something that is planetary) more important than her supposed power which you want to be omniversal?
