Well, Captain Berry Beard can be a very humorous villain.

Captain Whisker has two pirates, that bumble about and tug on his whiskers, with his first mate Johnny is more of a rival, then a villain.

So you could have not so mean pirates, with the main threat at the end.

Well, if Captain Berry Beard, or whatever his name will be, has two assistants, then those two could be the comedy relief of the game.

Captain Berry Beard could be the serious one.

Yeah that would be good, he could also have a (Mario bird villain enter in here, example would be the Albatross from SMB2) could be his first mate.

I guess so.

Well it could be the bird that is the real villain, no one would expect that.

Or perhaps just the Captain as the villain?

The captain could be the villain until you beat him at the end of the game.

Then, we'll find out that he was just a servant to the main villain.

Who could be the main villain?

I don't know.

Or maybe the Captain could be the main villain, but uses the [insert item that Captain Berry Beard was looking for] in order to summon a powerful creature.

The creature could serve as the final battle.

when Eggman Nega summons the Ifferit.
