I think the main point of that comic wasn't Phoenix vs Firelord, it was Firelord KO'ing Storm.

Looks like someone hasn't read the series and just ran off to torrent looking for e-cred!

Firelord comes back either in the end of that issue or the beginning of the next one asking where Phoenix is, and Xavier responds by saying "Somewhere were you can never get her."

Sounds to me like someone ran away 😗
