Oh and have you heard? They're planning to kill off Storm. saw a promo pic, with wolverine standing by a grave marker labeled "Ororo Munroe".

I grow tired of this game, your retorts are as weak as a wet kitten. Not surprising considering you're about as intelligent.

Still nothing.

This has got to be a world record. 😆

Just because you're too stupid to understand basic English does'nt mean you can dismiss me. Further since you can't seem to think for yourself you are tyhe one who should be dismissed. You are nothing but a burdden on both the board and society really. You're nothing but a joke. 2damnstupid is what some of the people here call you. Nobody respects you or takes what you say seriously.

It's also not unexpected that you're 2damnstupid to see what's infront of your face. You're 2damnstupid to comprehend anything. This whole thread was made as a joke at your expense. but you're 2damnstupid to see that.

OWNED!!! 😎 🤓 🪩

If you notice, he visits thesaurus.com and finds the most intelligent sounding words as a substitute for a point.

Plot induced stupidity is still plot induced stupidity.

Hmmm...I'm on 2damn side on this one. What do you consider PIS? If you don't mind me asking.😕

He won't answer you.

I'm like still waiting. 😆

Chances are, what he has to say is something that can be easily refuted and would make him look ignorant to what he's saying.

He'll probably insult you with hopes that you'll insult him back, thus turning it into a flame war, and what was originally asked being forgotten about.

I still want to know, though. 😎

Stuff like Storm absorbing the galactic core. That would be PIS.

Plot Induced Stupidity, or PIS, is when characters don't use their abilities or skills to the fullest extent as shown before, even within their personality ranges, for the sake of the story plotline. It makes lesser powered characters an actual challenge against higher powered characters in the comics. Examples of PIS include Flash stories lasting longer than three panels, or Toy Man as a threat to Superman.

😆

I think the correct term would be simply "crappy writing".

Wow whats with all these Storm threads. Is it that time of the month already?

And on topic: She doesn't make it past 5

Well, it's in her handbook.

As Symmetric Chaos stated, bios and handbooks mean nothing, correct?

You can't cherry pick "oh her winds can only reach a certain speed" because her bio says it, and overlook her being able to absorb the core which her bios also states.

Ease the **** back with bias.😆

Storm can manipulate all related to weather. EVERYTHING.

Deal.

Its crappy writing cause on a basis of most of her showings she never shows that level of power just cause they may happen more than once doesn't mean it should show her power. For example Batman has kicked Spectre and Captain Marvel and actually hurt them. But that doesn't mean any of us take that for his showing. you don't see many people seriously using that to say that he can actually beat supes with a kick.

Yea, in terms of KMC in which people crap all over, and cherry-pick the rules to dick-ride their favorite character.

Outside of that, she can do it, and with relative ease.

And she can also manipulate all the forces related to weather.

The problem is, most don't know enough about anything really to venture and say why can't do the things that she has done ala creshcock. 😆

Sorry, ass, but once again you are using a double standard.

While your definition is correct, most people consider PIS to be a one time feat/display of power used specifically for the story at the moment.

Ex: Black Panther armbar. It's obvious the new Fantastic Four doesn't have the power to take down Silver Surfer, so the writer throws in a pinch of PIS as a solution to the hero's dilemma.

EX: Galatic core. Due to Storm's feeble body, she had no way to get rid of the brood. Marvel couldn't have Storm die on them, so they add in a PIS moment to save the day. End.

Seriously how often has Storm shown the power to absorb a galactic core. Once. therefore its crappy writing. Thats why its PIS. Your problem is to you there is no PIS for her extremely overboard showings cause she's just that powerful to you. But shes not. She's a low to mid top tier at best.

But you can cherry pick one instance where Magneto's shield is broken by a feeble wind and then use it as basis of his forcefield's durability, despite that there are far more superior feats of his forcefield around?

Or cherry pick one outdated instance (not even stated in a comic book) where writer states that Storm is equal to WEAKENED Phoenix incarnation and even then Phoenix is technically more powerful, and use it as basis that Storm is equal to the Phoenix Force?

Or ignore every single flight speed feat Prince Namor has done and basing it on his handbook bio?

Ignore all the times that show Magneto (and Polaris too, a Magneto-lite) manipulating the iron in numerous beings blood, INCLUDING Storm, and still claim that he can't do so, despite ALL comic evidence proving otherwise?

Ignoring all the evidence that shows telekinesis/telepathy happening INSTANTLY, faster then Storm's lightning, moving at speed that is faster then light, and still claim that Storm can strike Jean Grey faster then Jean Grey can strike Storm?

Ignoring every single speed/reaction/power/telepathy feat of Martian Manhunter and claiming that Storm can still defeat him?

Claiming that Chris Claremont is the highest authority as far as Storm is concerned, then, when being shown all the times Claremont has written Magneto to be FAR superior to Storm in battle, conveniently ignoring them?

Ignoring that Wonder Woman has completely impenetrable forcefield that has taken attacks from gods, and still claiming that attacks from Storm can hurt her?

Claiming that Storm is one of the most powerful people around, and the limiting her opponents in 90% of the forum battles you put her into?

Ignoring that Iceman is capable of freezing molecules in split second, and still claim that Storm is able to separate his molecules faster them Iceman is able to make one thought?

Hey, the Oxford English Dictionary called. They asked if they can use your picture in their next edition when defining the word "hypocrite".
